Great on the doorstep beach view! Clean cottage with all that you would need in the kitchen for cooking meals. Quick response time when communicating with host. Already booked for return next year.

I just can't say enough positive things about our stay. The home was lovely, well appointed and very clean. The furniture and beds were comfortable. The deck was perfect and we loved having both higher chairs and lower ones depending on the breeze and how cool it was.Being just steps from the beach was amazing. We went down to the ocean and back many times a day because it was so convenient. The manager and owner were very easy to work with and provided excellent communication and service.I highly recommend. We will definitely book again.

Host was wonderful. Beautiful and well maintained. Definitely read the contract because you need to either rent towels/ sheets or bring them with you. Same with condiments. However the house is well worth it and - again- the hosts are marvelous. Already rebooked.

Needed more than one frying pan, floors were dusty, red stains on bed cover (looked like blood).

This was our second stay at the Answer to Prayer. The house is a perfect fit for our family. We had ample room to spread out and to be together for meals. Beds were comfortable, and of course, the beach access and view is fantastic.

House is set up to maximize comfort of the guests. Incredible views of the ocean from the deck. The easy access to the beach was an asset.

We have stayed at this property many times before and have always felt that although the house is older and in need of some updating, it was extremely welcoming and clean. This was not the case this time. This property was barely touched by a cleaning staff if it was even cleaned at all! Bathroom rugs were piled in a corner and very dirty. Bedding was old and stained. Sand and dirt were swept under the beds and under old filthy throw rugs. Kitchen utensils still had food on them in the drawers and the sink had not been scrubbed. Anything we needed to use in the kitchen had to be washed first. The list goes on…

Had a great time! Roger and Darlene were very responsive and accommodating. Recommend this property for a peaceful getaway right on the beach.

This beach house was a great location for our family, right on the beach and not far to restaurants, grocery and shopping. We really had a great time playing on the beach, which is beautiful and spacious. There is a public beach access right next to the house but the beach was never crowded. The kitchen has everything you need in terms of pots, pans, etc. Everything was clean. My only two things with the house was that the beds upstairs are very lumpy and soft so if you prefer a firm mattress you may want to know that in advance, and the whole house shakes when the washing machine is on spin cycle. Other than that, the house was great for me, my husband, 3 kids and 2 grandparents.

This is a great place to stay. It was our first time at Topsail Island and the house is in a perfect location, away from all of the traffic and noise, but close to everything you need. We will be recommending to our friends and my family already wants me to book for next year. Thank you Mr. Thompson for calling and checking on us, this was the first house we have rented where to owner called to check on things.

Return visit to Answer to Prayer. This is a single family gem amongst the endless duplexes and townhomes that have overtaken Topsail Island. The first days the beach was empty and the location of the property is excellent. Thanks for making this amazing home available.

Beautiful and spacious home just steps away from the ocean. Owner was quick to answer any questions or concerns we had. We saw dolphins about every morning while enjoying coffee on the deck. Would highly recommend!!

Nice house with plenty of room. Great location directly on beach! Nice large oceanfront deck. Cooking pans need upgrading as they are very worn. Rugs need cleaning throughout house. Not bad just well used.

This house is great for someone traveling with dogs. The gated deck was perfect for allowing our dogs to dry off after spending hours playing in the sand and ocean. Place was very nice and had everything that we needed. Hope to be making another trip back in the near future.

Everything was exactly as we had hoped for. Cleanliness of the property, check in procedure, wonderful immediate beach front access and a neighborhood where we felt safe. Had a big storm one day during the week but we weathered it just fine. Area stores and restaurants were outstanding. Hope to return next year.

Gated back porch is where we spent most of our time. Kitchen perfect for making meals, living room and beds are comfortable. (Please note linens and towels are not provided)The ocean takes center stage with all the windows. North Topsail beach was perfect for shelling and all other ocean fun.

Location was great. Views and access to the beach were amazing. Beds comfy. Nice and spacious. Would like to see the requirement to bring bed sheets and pillow cases in the actual listing not just on the rental agreement.

We found Answer to Prayer to be that, a comfortable family size beach house. Great access to the beach, good viewing, the dolphins didn't disappoint. The beds were comfortable, good kitchen, dining, and living space. Access to the garage was a nice benefit. Roger was prompt with all communication. We look forward to a return trip.

This was our 2nd time to stay at the “yellow house” as we call it. This house just works perfectly for us! We are already getting ready to book again for next year.

We have been coming to Topsail now for several years. This was our first time in N Topsail. We loved it so much better than other places we have stayed. The beach was very clean and not very rocky like other parts of the beach. We did purchase a mop & left for the house along with a new charcoal grill & grilling tongs & spatula. The two grills that were about to fall apart so we went ahead and got a new one. We did not throw the others away in the event you needed to keep them for some reason. We loved it and are in hopes we are able to come back in the future. Your Answer to Prayer was definitely our answer to prayer! Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. Morning walks on the beach watching the sun rise and collecting shells and shark teeth were great. A nest of sea turtles hatched while we were there. An added bonus.

My husband and I along with our grown children enjoyed a much needed relaxing break together . This property was so perfect for us. Beautiful views from every window and great gated deck for our 5 year old lab. My husband immediately claimed one of the high deck chairs and said this is my spot for morning coffee and every evening! We have all agreed that we would love to return! Roger called after we settled in for any questions…he was super helpful .

This house is beautiful, well kept, and pleasantly decorated. We loved the openness of the first floor and the fact that it has bedrooms and a bathroom on both floors, making it easy to enjoy for someone who is a little less mobile. Everything is organized and the kitchen is stocked well and the shelves are labeled, making it easy to put things back after use. Another plus - the beds were comfortable. Plenty of windows to look out at your backyard - the Atlantic Ocean. The beach was fantastic, as usual, and never crowded. This was my fourth visit to Topsail and by far this was the nicest place I've stayed at. Check it out. I know we shall return!
