This isn't' your uptight pristine home. This is a comfortable, relaxing chilled out environment. We had a wonderful time here; it is spacious, has two living areas, well equipped kitchen and lovely large backyard that my dogs has a great time exploring. Perfect for groups to sit around and banter, or a quiet solo or couple's weekend away. Close to the river and not too far from Gawler to pick up any supplies. The hostess is a lovely person with great communication. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely book again.

The advertisement for this house didn't mention that you had to take your own linen and towels- only when we had booked and paid were we told of this. There is no WiFi available.

Place was lovely, with a relaxed feel. Kitchen is well equipped. Beach house is on the older side but was clean and suited our needs perfectly. Back yard was secure for dogs. Has a split system in the up stairs common area, not obvious in the photos. We didn't use aircon as the ventilation was excellent with all the windows. Location was quite despite being across the road from the caravan park reception. Filter taps are good on the rain water taps. Thanks for an enjoyable stay Stacey.

The house is spacious, light and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed having the option of sitting on one of two big couches to view the horizon, on the second level. There any many sleeping options aswell. Our daughter loved going up and down the stairs, although the bars need fixing. The kitchen was lovely and user friendly, with a view over the backyard. Nice new cooktop and oven. The back yard was perfect for our dog and our toddler to run around.

We had a great time here. The backyard was perfect for our dog to run around safely. The house sits next to a quiet caravan park, and we had public access to the pool, which was a huge bonus. Inside, the kitchen was really well stocked with heaps of plates, cutlery and cooking gear plus all the essentials you might need. The house was spotless when we arrived. The top section does get warm during a hot day, but the aircon handled it well. Overall, it’s a great setup for a smaller family or two couples travelling together.

Lovely enclosed backyard. Well equipped kitchen. Homely feel. Beds were comfortable. Were able to pay 5 to use the pool at the Caravan Park across the road. Host communicated about a lighting issue (over head lights not working) and provided adequate lamps. Would have been harder to cook dinner under those conditions in winter but ok with daylight savings. A DVD player upstairs would have been preferable. The pictures of the bedrooms (linen, cushions etc) don't match anymore. This is an issue for children/adults who are neurodivergent as anticipating their holiday venue is important as change can be challenging.

Wonderful place to stay with a fully equipped kitchen. Aircon worked brilliantly over the hot day, and the beds were comfortable.
