Always Summer – Recently Updated! New Pool, Hot Tub, Walk to the Beach

This place was perfect overall! Ocean Reef was great to work with and very accommodating. IThe only thing I wish we knew has to do with the beach access and chair/umbrella policy. The instructions told us we could not bring our own and that there was ONE company to call for us to rent them. The price was ridiculously expensive. Furthermore, there are public accesses all over that DO allow folks to bring their own.

We had an amazing stay! This property is spacious and clean, the walk to the beach is very manageable and the check in/out process was by far the easiest we have experienced with any previous properties.

Girls trip in April!! My 3 girlfriends and I visited Destin and spent a lot of time researching properties. These photos don’t do it justice. We each had our own bedroom with plenty of room to spare. Most of us had individual bathrooms. One of the post was misleading because they made it sound like the property was old and outdated. I’m not sure if that was the case when they stayed there and if since the property was updated. But we were beyond pleased with the property. I stayed in the primary bedroom on the first floor and was loved the master bath… the shower…modern glass… tile and double sinks. How far to the beach? Only about a seven minute walk. How far to restaurants? Always less than a 10 minute drive unless we went to a fancy restaurant which was less than 20 minutes. We’re already talking about returning with our spouses.

We were very impressed with all aspects of the renting this property. Made our vacation a very memorable experience!!!

We loved our stay at Barracuda- the locations is amazing - so close to the beach and to great shopping/dining. The house was big and had tons of places to hang out. I think the things that would improve the stay would be to add a few more things to the kitchen- a couple of good pots/pans. The non-stick enamel was coming off a lot of them and that is not great for cooking. Also cushions for the outdoor chairs would be amazing- they are super hard and the pool area is a nice place to hang out! Overall great stay- would love to return again.

ALWAYS SUMMER delivered! The home was spacious and had all the amenities you needed while on vacation! The pool was clean, the rooms had an abundance of storage, and you had all the pot and pans you needed to feel at home. The adults were able to enjoy morning coffee on their own bedroom balconies. The photos of house are very deceiving! The house needs a lot of work. Back fence falling off, front and back of outside need cleaning and painting, mold and mildew in upstairs bathrooms. Needs more in the way of ice machine and was shocked we had to buy our own propane for grill. Have stayed up and down Destins coast for years and was truly disappointed in this house.

The property was nice. It needed a little painting & TLC on the back lower deck near the outside laundry room. Laundry room could use some work as well. Washer and dryer were great.
