'Almost Heaven - Big Canoe Laurel Ridge - Walk to Amenities

We loved the amenities and location. This has to be one of three houses this close to the beach and lake activities. Perfect for a peaceful weekend!

This property was such a great find for our christmas vacation with our friends. There were 10 of us in total from 4 years old to 55 years old and everyone had a great time. I will say, The photos didnt do the space justice. It was much bigger than anticipated. We really enjoyed the hot tub, as well as the fire place! I didnt love that there was only 1 working television and not very much seating for thay many people, but we made it work. Tom was a great host!

This vacation rental was fabulous! The access to amenities was amazing. It was convenient and easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. The home was perfect for our family. It had space for work, play, and relaxation. I can’t find enough words to express how much we enjoyed the stay!!

Such a great location right near the lake. We had a relaxing time and enjoyed the hot tub as well. We will definitely look into returning. Host was wonderful and very responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as stated. We enjoyed the hot tub and found some really nice hiking trails. A short walk down to the beach. Our dog really enjoyed it as well.

Our host was wonderfully responsive and the place was in a great location for our grandchildren. The house is a bit worn, but worked for us since we had small children.

Property was just as described. It was perfect for a set of parents, their 2 grown children, and 6 grandchildren. They even had a pack-n-play for the infant. Owner was easy to contact, and even alerted us once when there was a bear sited near the house. One of the lakes/pool areas was able to be accessed by walking down a hill from behind the house, which the kids took full advantage of. There were lifeguards, so the older kids were able to come and go to the pool. We will definitely stay there again.

We rented two homes overlooking the beach club for our large family. It was wonderful being able to walk down to the beach club. The home was very well appointed. Tom was very helpful before our stay - even letting us know that the local store had a refrigeration problem the day before our stay began.

We’ve been to Big Canoe numerous times, and Almost Heaven is our favorite rental there. The house had everything we needed, and the hot tub was a fun bonus. The location so close to the Beach Club cannot be beat, especially when you have kids and are there in the summer. Tom is a fantastic host, responsive and kept us up to speed on everything we needed to know.

Came for granddaughters wedding. House was perfect! Convenient to dinners, etc. Scenery was breathtakingly beautiful.
