Allure Beach House - Currarong

The house is very nicely renovated clean and tidy. Its a 2 story house. The bunk room is downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs including the dining, kitchen and lounge. There is also a lounge downstairs.We had a very easy check in and check out. There is no air-conditioning however there are ceiling fans in each room. There isnt any WiFi or a smart TV either so come prepared. It's also BYO Linen or linen can be provided at a cost.The house backs on to a small piece of council land which other houses also back onto, it can feel quite exposed since the house is two story and the other backyards can see right into the house if the blinds are up. Just be conscious it doesn't feel super private. Walking distance to the bowling club. The ocean pool (pictured in listing) is about a 7 minute walk out the back gate. Owner was very responsive to texts.

Loved our stay at this property. The photos don’t really do it justice. The house was large enough for our two families of 4 and had everything we needed included modern bathrooms kitchen and laundry. The location is amazing! The house has two decked areas and a massive “park” behind it that is shared with the neighbours- perfect for cricket! Thank you Katie

Stylish but very comfortable home perfect for a group or family stay. Loved the multiple social areas so lots of opportunity to get together, but plenty of space to get away??. Well equipped kitchen. Need to note - no wi-fi Bu not an issue for our group. Loved our stay.

Great. Needed more time

All in all it was very nice. The thing is that the ceiling installation on the first floor is not finished and there is a gap between the walls and the ceiling. Additionally there is a strong smell of moisture, so I took my children to sleep with us on the second floor. It wasn't a big deal as we are a small family of four. My son had asthma for a long time and we barely managed to beat it, so we were afraid to leave him inside at night. Maybe it’s too much parental concern, I’m not sure, but the fact is there’s a strong smell of moisture. With everything else I was very happy and we will probably look to come again when the opportunity arises. The house has a great position and is close to the beach. Neighbourhood was very pleasant and quiet. Unfortunately, we missed a proper cue stick like hell as the present one was damaged.

Great stay. The back porch is quite nice, occasionally a few kids playing around, if you have kids that would like that. Short walk to beach, which is really what this property nails. Here's a few points: I'd say for younger kids, like sub 8 years old - this is unlikely for you as you'll have to leave them downstairs with no internal stair case (had to sleep downstairs while wife was upstairs the whole time to be safe) which was noted in the descriptions. All the rumpus room stuff (pool, xbox - no batteries for the controller unfort., fishing gear) were lost on my young kids also - so they didn't go down there much. Other than that - this is a nice converted beach shack. Finishes are mid range but electronics, TVs, DVDs, ceiling fans (no aircon) all a bit dated and clunky (vs price we paid) - but that's not while you're at the beach right! I'd also say that we paid waaaay overs for this and looking through prices for this place now - we were way above the high season stuff I can see - so hard not to filter my thoughts according to that price. Must have been COVID lock down prices. Katy is great - v responsive for an issue I had with the oven - quickly resolved.

This holiday home was very clean, comfortable (great beds), a close walk to beautiful beaches and equipped with all we needed. Great holiday home for us: 4 adults and 3 teens (who loved their downstairs space).

Katie the host was wonderful great communication and service. House is furnished beautifully and in a wonderful location. Downstairs for sleeping can be noisy, as you hear everything from upstairs as the upstairs is floorboards. Still an amazing property definitely will stay again.
