Property as described. Host was very pleasant, friendly and had several great stories to go along with the items in house. Surprised us with delicious fresh baked cookies.

We had a small family reunion here and it worked out perfectly for us. Plenty of beds, and tremendous hosts! We were too busy to use most of the outdoor cooking areas and games but plan on returning.

Amazing home base for making memories in Seward and at Kenai Fjords National Park! Very close! The house was super clean, well laid out for families of groups, and seeing the animal specimens was an adventure in itself! The hosts go above and beyond to communicate and they are pros at making it a great experience. Recommend highly!

Loved my stay at the Sportsman house. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Went boondocking in my truck and got terribly stuck, told them about it and had a list of potential tow companies super fast, and had my truck pulled out of a quick sand bog by the end of the day. The house is great, the decor is excellent, and the owners are magnificent. I’ll be booking with them every time I stay in Seward.

Beautiful property and nice setting. A wonderfully appointed sportsman's themed three bedroom two bath home, fully furnished. The owner Luna was super and took care of our every need. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you!

Lona was very helpful providing information. She went above and beyond. Loved the heavy drapes. Helped with sleeping.

Location, location, location. This place is conveniently located about 5 min. from all things in downtown Seward (as well as a grocery store), and it's conveniently stocked with anything you may need. The beds were very comfortable, the showers were hot and Lona welcomed us with freshly baked cookies. The fire pit and bags/horeshoe games were fun for my family and the view will be so hard to beat. We also appreciated the laundry after a day of fishing on Resurrection Bay! Would highly recommend!

Great location and very accommodating hosts! We had fun playing corn hole and horseshoes at the end of each day. We wanted to enjoy the bonfire and make s’mores but we ran out of time! Lona was a great host and we LOVED the cookies! Highly recommend!!

Perfect place to stay when in Seward. This home is very well stocked and had everything we needed plus more. The host is so nice and friendly. The cookies were a nice touch also. You can't go wrong staying here.

It was a great place really nice very clean lots of space the host was very nice, loved all the history in the place, kids really loved it as well, the fresh baked cookies were like grandma cooked them.

My family had a wonderful stay at the Alaska sportsman’s home. The home has the best Alaskan decor! Everything was clean and well stocked. The owner came by to check on us and we enjoyed chatting with him.

Wonderful cabin. Incredibly large kitchen. Very well stocked. Lona, the host, was great with communication and the cabin was super clean. She had thought of absolutely everything you could want. Great location and easy to find. Very close to Seward. Loved the authentic Alaskan decor. Beds were very comfortable, too. Definitely recommend!!

We had such a fun and memorable stay at the Alaskan Sportsman’s Home. The taxidermy alone is worth the trip….it feels like a mini museum in the best way. Our kids were absolutely obsessed. They’re still talking about the brown bear and the mountain goat like they were housemates for the weekend.Beyond the wow factor, the house itself was spotless and incredibly well stocked. It truly had everything we needed and then some. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were comfortable, and every little detail felt thoughtful and intentional.Communication was excellent from start to finish: clear, responsive, and kind.We’re so grateful for such a unique and comfortable place to stay. We were very comfortable and it had everything we needed. We loved the taxidermy and the sportsman theme. We hope to be back to stay longer. There was so many things to do nearby, also. The hosts were so helpful and nice. Fabulous!!!!!

When we booked our stay, we were looking more at the location and the bedroom configuration than anything else, which worked very well for us. When we got there we were pleasantly surprised by the decor, which was in the photos, but we had rushed past. It was a great place to stay! We ran out of propane while Lona was at work, but she was able to get us going again very quickly. Lona is very friendly and a very good host. If our travels ever lead us back to Seward, we would love to stay here again!

This was just the greatest place to stay! We loved the theme of Alaska sportsmen that was everywhere, inside and out - it was unique and amazing. The bear decor was supported by other Alaskan animals, both as trophy specimens and in every little detail. We oohed and aahhed every time we discovered something new. The island countertop was beautiful - and surrounded by the best equipped kitchen we've ever rented. The finishing touches were so welcoming - coffee, creamers, hot chocolate and a huge variety of teas that were available to use, along with freshly baked bear print cookies on a platter. We enjoyed an evening around the firepit and wandered the secluded property. The house was sparkling clean and very comfortable. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Someone stopped by as soon as we arrived to make sure everything was as expected. If you are going to the Seward area, this is absolutely the best place to stay.

Fun, functional and fabulous! Everything you need: Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, W/D, firepit and outdoor cookout area... anc a super helpful landlord! Gorgeous sportsman themed accommodation. Very close drive to downtown Seward. Highly, highly recommended.

This was the perfect spot to spend the last few days of our Alaska vacation. The home is just a quick trip to Seward so it's easy to access gas, shopping, restaurants & tourist activities. The home had everything we needed- room to spread out, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, an outdoor seating area with a grill, a quiet road that was perfect for an after dinner walk. We really enjoyed visiting with the hosts as well as the neighboring guests. Lona was very easy to work with - always responded quickly to any messages. Definitely recommend!

Five star host! House was extremely well provisioned and comfortable and about as real Alaska as you can get. Our second stay here and we will come back again next year.

The property was so great, with so many amenities. Spacious interior with every gadget you could imagine.I wish I had found this property sooner so we could have taken advantage of the firepit and cornhole! We met Lona as we were leaving and she was so kind. Will definitely book here again in the future!

Amazing, extremely clean and beautiful property. The place is extremely spacious, and for the price it is such a great deal for Seward. One of the best experience we've had with a rental home. The owner also provided home-made cookies which were soo delicious. Recommend 100%!!

The property is secluded and quiet. It has an outdoor area with a fire pit and plenty of room to socialize. The interior is Alaskana, with mounted animals (including a brown bear). Very clean and nice. I highly reccomend.

This house was perfect for our family, and centrally located to all our planned activities! Check-in was a breeze and the home had everything we needed. At the end of a busy day of fun, we relaxed by the fire pit, and played corn hole and horse shoes! Lona is the perfect host! We will definitely stay there again, if we make it back to Alaska!

The Sportsman home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, open concept kitchen and family room and were all very nice sized. Furniture and beds were comfortable and everything was very clean.The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need. Great decor if you are a sportsman.The host made our check in easy. They live very close by and stopped by to see if we needed anything but then gave us our privacy too.Our only regret was we only planned a one night stay.

We only stayed one night but we wished it could have been longer! Beautifully decorated and stocked with anything you could ever imagine. Plenty of on site activities to keep you busy in the evenings or during the day when not exploring the area. Absolutely will be back!

Spent a couple nights here, and had a very pleasant stay. Dean and Lona could not have been more welcoming. The home is clean and well-appointed, and has a lot of nice touches, like the outdoor area for grilling and games. Would love to return here sometime.

Just returned from our Alaska vacation and our stay in Seward was fantastic. Our hosts were amazing. They checked in on us to make sure things were good. Gave us suggestions on things to do. The accommodations were amazing. You will not be disappointed in your stay. Do not pass staying here.

This was the perfect place for our needs. Very convenient to Seward and Kenai Fords National Park. The bear was awesome!

Five brothers plus 1 wife had a very comfortable stay with both indoor and outdoor interaction settings. Fire pit, deck chairs and open floor plan interior made for privacy if desired and socializing. All six beds were extremely comfortable.And what a fabulous Host. Will stay here anytime I'm in Seward.

Cozy, comfortable location near central Seward. Proximate to downtown, the port and other outdoor destinations. Cabin has rustic charm and nice outdoor amenities in around the property.

We had an amazing stay, you have a wonderful rental and we were blown away by the cabin. Your attention to details from your hand quilted bed toppers, hand sewn placemats and any kitchen accessories you could possibly need did not go unnoticed. The mounts, skulls and furs are an impressive collection and were thoroughly checked out by my dad and Husband. We are a fellow hunting family so we know the work and enjoyment taken in the collection. We will be returning for many swim meets in the future and yours will be the first place I check for availability when I’m ready to make reservations in the future.

Had an excellent stay here, such a beautiful property with amazing trophies and decor. Lots of great stories to be told. Property manager was as helpful as one can be and kind. She even baked us bear paw cookies! Had the place to enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. Definitely will have to come back.

This was an incredible property. There were 3 bedrooms which each had a queen bed. 3 couples (6 people) stayed very comfortably. There were two full bathrooms. The property was fully stocked. The owners live next door and came and visited when we checked in and they were very friendly and helpful. This was one of the best and most beautiful homes I've stayed in. Would 100% recommend to anyone else in the future.
