For the Pentecost weekend you can attend the flower parade of Vaison La Romaine allowing shows throughout the weekend, a free and pleasant distraction for young and old. There is even a parade of floats at night.
Once a month, for lovers of old objects, do not miss the flea market in Vaison. Every Tuesday a huge Provencal market monopolizes all the streets and squares of the village. You will find: clothes, kitchen utensils, olive oils from Provence, more particularly, olive oil from NYONS. Dishes from all sources, local specialties, very good Provencal charcuterie, honeys of different flavors, Provence herbs, very good fruits and vegetables that have reached maturity under the Provence sun. Every Saturday morning come and shop for fruits and vegetables
at the stalls of local producers on the village square.
For July 14, come and watch the splendid fireworks display from a site of remains of Roman ruins.
