Across the street from the beach!! 4/3 with Spectacular views & ELEVATOR!

Nice house, easy walk to the beach, host was great! We loved the views of the sound from the living room.

This home is beautiful. It has all the amenities for cooking. The beds are very comfortable. The view from the house is incredible! We could see the beach and the sound, sunrise and sunsets. Our host was easy to communicate with. It is very clean and comfortable. Only suggestion: The bathrooms are supplied with a 3-in-1 gallon sized combined shampoo, conditioner, and soap. I would suggest to bring your own shampoo, soap, and TP.

We had no reason to contact the host. The house was clean and was as advertised. Cute house with lots of room.

Property was just as described and photos showed - and VERY clean and well kept! Nice appliances, cookware, dishes, etc. Had a family member with a knee issue; elevator was a true Godsend (worked great). Truly a great place to stay; we all enjoyed it, the close public beach access and beautiful views of the water (especially sound side). We highly recommend this property!!

The house was perfect for our large family! It was cozy and comfortable and had all of the amenities! It was super clean! We hope to come back for a longer stay!

The property just as pictured. Beautiful view of waterway, so peaceful for watching the sun go down. The beach was a quick three to four minute walk. The house is beautiful and the kitchen is extremely well stocked. A wonderful vacation place.

One of the best beach houses my family and I have rented over the years. The house was spacious, clean, and had fantastic views. The host made sure our stay was enjoyable and was great with communication. This was our second stay in this home and I’m sure we’ll be back for a third.

The house was perfect for our family of 6. Super close to the beach access plus beautiful views of the sound. The open top floor was great for hanging out together. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed to make our stay easy and comfortable. Danielle was super responsive and a great host. We will definitely try to return!

This was our third year staying here and we still love the homey feeling!! Our families love the spacious living areas and great views from the decks. Danielle is easy to reach if you need anything. We will continue to stay here as availability allows.

We wanted a place walking distance to the beach and with a terrific view, and that’s just what this rental is! A 2-minute walk to the beach and a spectacular view of the intercostal waterway. The house itself is the perfect beach house - lots of windows and sunlight. We’d definitely come back.

My family and I had an anniversary party in Surf City to attend and needed somewhere that would sleep 6-7 and with an elevator. This beautiful place fit the bill and was located close to the venue as well. It’s also right across the street from the beach access. The kitchen is open to the family room and has wonderful views of the marsh. The master bedroom was roomy and we all loved the fact that each bedroom had a small sound machine. Danielle was responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again the next time we plan a trip to Surf City and highly recommend!

We had a nice weekend getaway. Some fun in the sun and the ocean air was great. Plenty of room for all of us.

My family thouroughly enjoyed our mini vacation at Driftwood Den. The house was amazing with all the essentials needed especially the cookware. Although the weather was a little rainy, we were able to visit the Missle Musuem and The Karen Beasley Turtle Rehabilitation Center. My famil would definitely book this home again if the need arises. Thank you for opening ths home to us.

We loved the property. I rent somewhere on the island every year and this house was the cleanest I’ve ever seen. It is very comfortable and a short walk to the beach access. My one and only complaint, is that the kitchen needs new frying pans. Other than that I highly recommend this property.

We loved staying here. Communication was awesome and if we needed anything she got right back to us. We have already talked about coming back and staying in this house again.
