Stayed May 17, 2026House was quiet and in the woods feeling. We enjoyed the fire pit and firewood was furnished for one night but there were plenty of firewood sellers along the highways to buy more. Toiletries were minimal. Might bring your own. It was warm during our visit and black fly season evidently. Screens on the upstairs windows would be helpful to keep that space cool. It was pretty warm upstairs. It was located very well in relation to visiting the park and Bar Harbor

Stayed Jun 14, 2025Our family of 4 enjoyed the quiet of Acadia Haven. Close enough to be easy access to the National Park and Bar Harbor but far enough to be away from the hustle and crowds. Our kids loved the room upstairs.

Stayed Sep 28, 2024The cottage is probably a half mile off a major road. Road to the cottage goes through the forest. Far enough off road that no road noise. The owners...Rose and Steve in the Main House only a minute away. Woods just behind the cottage. Picnic table with umbrella and gas grill just outside.Lots of windows so nice views. About 15 minutes from Bar Harbor and Park entrance....so remote cottage setting but neighbors nearby.... but close to everything.

Stayed Aug 26, 2024We enjoyed our stay very much. The sunroom was our favorite room. The house was great for the most part. There were a few minor items that needed attention like window shades and toilet seat but overall this was a great place to stay to be close to all the sights and shopping in Bar Harbor/Acadia.
