The unit was beautifully furnished and the kitchen was totally set up for cooking. There is one bed and a pull out sofa bed, so really only adequate for 2 individuals or 2 couples. It is very quiet and the outdoor space is nice. We enjoyed the many restaurants nearby and the Golden Gate Park.

6 nights, older couple, Mixed review. Decor is funky, mix of Louis IV and modern, we liked it. Quiet location. Used Uber and many trips were under $12. Appliances nice, queen bed comfortable, shower was great. Nice floors. Back deck very nice, great for coffee in a.m. and wine in p.m. There were large trees and many plants, leaf litter. Kitchen supplies: lots of bowls, dishes, flatware, some spices, few condiments. Pans ok. Cons: dangerous broken kitchen and office chairs. Couldn't get the computer to turn on. Had to use personal Amazon Prime & Netflix accounts for TV and had concern about security. No local TV channels. Remote batteries in sitting room were dead. Nice kitchen cabinets were hard to open because there were no pulls, nobs or groves to use on drawers and and doors. The small bath sink had black mold under top between the glass and chrome frame. Old throw rugs on sides of bed were trip hazard and when removed we found grit and dust on floor that got on feet and in sheets. The back garden was unkept and two small 'ponds' that apparently used to hold ?? gold fish were littered with dead leaves, had dirty water, odor. There was no water flowing. Neighbor said no gardener care for couple of years. Didn't use laundry, but saw it in basement garage area. We don't believe the manager was living upstairs. We did text and he apparently lives in Washington state, not upstairs' as listing states. He did come through with a couple of requests.

This is a well maintainained, Victorian condominium, extremely clean and spacious enough. It is located in a very safe neighborhood in the Inner Sunset district of San Francisco located two blocks away from the N- Muni and several bus routes. Although grocery shopping is available, they are very small, limited stores by most standards. The only negative that I can think of is that the entire apartment had a very musty odor throughout our stay, and I cannot determine why. There is plenty of street parking although we didn't need any given that we used public transportation and Uber. I would recommend this property.

We didn’t stay at the property at all, and ate all of the money we paid. The parking at this property is terrible. If you have a car, this isn’t the property for you (in my opinion). If you are using car services it would be great. We did go inside (while double parked) and it looked very clean, and it’s in a great location. The owner of the property stated the no one has had a problem in 20 years parking at this property..um..I don’t believe it for a second. Read through the comments..and every bit of the property description. Look on Google Earth to see what you’re dealing with ahead of time BEFORE booking.

Really nice first floor apartment with lots of room, including storage for clothes. While I didn't need it, the full kitchen, it would be great for longer stays. The shower was especially nice for California. This is a huge place!I appreciated all the communication, and responses were essentially immediate. Neighbors are nice, as is the neighborhood. Super convenient to public transportation.

Checking in was a bit confusing as the host's instructions were unclear. However, once inside the fun could begin. The decor was mostly antique, but clean and beautiful. This is a solid structure with real hard wood floors and doors. I loved the access to the balcony and the back yard. It sleeps four, two on a queen and two on a sofa bed in a living room/family room divided by a partition. Overall, I loved this place!

First off, the property manager was very professional, prompt and genuinely cared about our family having a good vacation. The property was very clean and centrally located. Parking was a bit of a challenge for us. Very hard to find street parking in front of the home. But around the corner it’s ok. Be aware that there is a flight of stairs you’ll need to carry your belongings up in order to access the property. The VRBO is one floor. There is one bedroom. For separate sleeping quarters there is a living room (separated from the bedroom by French doors)with pull out couch. Nice backyard. Nice neighbors.

My husband and I, who used to live in the neighborhood years ago, brought our now-teenage daughters back to see the city. The apartment is lovely. It has a nice back deck that leads down into a beautiful garden. The primary bed is very comfortable; the sofa bed is...well, it's a sofa bed and that's what kids are for. Water pressure is great. Well stocked kitchen. All the amenities you could want for any length of stay, really. The owner let us check in much earlier than scheduled. We arrived in town mid-morning, so this was a great relief and much appreciated. Only real room for improvement was that some communications were a bit confusing: between the 3-ring binder of info at the VRBO and the direct messages between me and the host and the automated messages, we got either conflicting, incomplete, or just confusing info about checking in and checking out, but it all worked smoothly ultimately.

Apartment was very spacious for two of us. It was tidy and clean, and a bit brighter than it looked in the listing pictures. Felt like a safe part of town, very close to Golden Gate Park and made a good home base to explore the city for a few days. Parking is on the street, free but with time limitations on most streets. Usually wasn’t an issue as we were out and about during the day. The only issue we had was at check in, we arrived a little over an hour after check in time and the cleaners were still there and needed another 30 minutes or so. Might have just been a one time issue that day. Lastly, although it is advertised as being very private, there is a shared entryway with the owners and only a small privacy screen between the entry way and the hall that leads to the rental bedroom and kitchen/bath. You can close and lock the doors for the bedroom and kitchen if you want, but this would be inconvenient overnight if needing to get up to go to the bathroom as it would be through two locked doors. All that said, we had no issues, heard the owners but didn’t actually see them, and they were very responsive to text if we needed anything. Overall, a good stay for the price. Would stay again.

The sheets on the pullout couch smelled like body order as did the towels even though they looked clean. The shampoo/conditioner/bath soap container had previously been broken off the wall and were just sitting on a ledge. It accidentally fell causing shampoo to spill all over the tub causing a slippery/dangerous situation. I was under the assumption we had the entire place, but when walking in the front door, there were no entry signs on the stairs, so we had one floor only. The pictures of the gardens looked lush though when there, they were unkept and not a place you would want to spend any time, especially since there were several broken down appliances under the stairs and deck. I would not stay here again.
