We loved the house and our stay with you thanks for having us

We enjoyed our week at the house without any issues until we were preparing to leave on Saturday morning. My 30yo son was carrying luggage down the outside stairs when the entire set (stringer) of stairs detached and sent him roughly 13 feet to the ground. Luckily, he didn’t break anything, but had major muscle spasms and bruising. We’re thankful he was carrying luggage and not his 10 month old!

It was in a very central location, close to so many things. Beach access was just down the road. It was very busy during the weekend and there was nowhere to park, but later in the week there wasn't a problem. The kitchen was fully stocked, we cooked dinner 3 different times we were there. And even once on the grill. Everyone loved the hot tub and pool table. And spent many nights playing pool. The second fridge definitely helped with holding extra food and drinks. We didnt heat the pool because it cost too much, but the kids didnt care if it was cooler, they played anyway. There was an array of pool noodles and boogie boards for the kids to use. The only set back was the noise from the traffic on the road right in front of it, and the number of stairs to climb (3 levels) If you open the windows you can barely hear each other to talk. The rooms were nice and spacious, bathroom with each bedroom was nice. And it was clean. I was really impressed by how much the rental company keeps in touch with you throughout the week, making sure your visit is perfect. Overall we were very happy with the house, it started feeling like home by the time we left.

The house was nice enough however it was filthy. Nothing (including the bedding which had hairs on it) were cleaned. Floors, counters, mirrors, bedding, carpet, tables all dirty, dusty, left feet and socks black. The pool we paid to have heated and was Def not heated. The pool crew left a hose laying in the pool mid week and never returned. The house was very conveniently located just would have been nice to not spend our first night after driving 10 hrs cleaning. Called the manager Terry and he did nothing except offer to send the cleaning folks back. After we cleaned it all...won't use this company again and we are OBX regulars. Like to visit 2x.a year min and won't be using them again needless to say.

Overall layout is good. bedrooms and baths are good. Pool gets dirty from overhead trees. Pool was freezing in late August ($400 is way too much for heat). Pulled a dead rat out of pool too. Main living area TV needs to have the network refreshed every time you turn it on. Unable to get 1st flor TV to work since no remote was located. Killed a roach on this floor too. Road noise and firehouse sirens make it pretty noisy at all hours. Ice maker did not work ALL week. House is nice but overall may have been my least favoite for these other reasons. Disappointing.

What a great place to spend a week. The house is so well stocked with everything you will need and the location is great. You can use the pool, the indoor gaming tables or head on a short walk to the beach. It’s walking distance to the grocery store and the set up of the home is fantastic. We found everything to be very clean and the layout perfect for the 8 of us! The teens loved playing pool or cards in the evenings and spending their days at the beach and the pool. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

It was a very nice house. It had everything in the kitchen we needed. Nice big rooms to enjoy. The pool and hot tub was a great as well. the only thing was the busy road out front of the house. Which you can't help. Thank you so much
