This new construction has space for everyone and an abundance of natural light through the many large windows all throughout the home.

Located on the first floor of this reverse floor plan, open concept home, is a massive living space with a large comfy couch and sofa, offering 4 reclining seats. There is also a bar-top table with 4 stools located next to the beverage bar with a mini fridge, a Kuerig coffee maker and a sink. The large windows and sliding glass door offer a secondary space for relaxing while enjoying the ocean views.



There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor. The first bedroom, with a king sized bed, has ocean views, a private en suite with a walk-in shower and a double vanity. The second bedroom on the first floor has a queen sized bed, pool views, patio access, and a private en suite with a tub/shower combo. Also located on the first floor is the bunk room with 3 bunk beds, all twin sized, pool views, patio access, and a private en suite with a tub/shower combo.



Moving up to the top level of the home, you enter into the main living area with a large couch and loveseat, a lounge chair, arm chair and a groovy moon chair. There is plenty of room for the whole family to gather around and play games or watch TV. The room is filled with natural light from the giant windows and sliding glass door leading to the front patio with ocean views. Across from the living room is the large kitchen with beautiful quartz countertops, white cabinets and stainless steel appliances. This kitchen provides 2 dishwashers, and a large peninsula with bar seating for 4. The kitchen offers many small appliances for guests to use during their stay including a Kuerig and drip coffee maker, toaster, kettle, and lots of pots and pans. The kitchen table seats 6 with additional seating for 4 on the patio outside.



The second floor has two bedrooms. The primary bedroom, located next to the kitchen, has a king sized bed, patio access, pool views, en suite with a walk in shower, and double vanity. Located off the living room is the fifth bedroom with a queen sized bed, patio access and pool views.



​​​​​​​In the large backyard there is an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off before jumping into the pool. Enjoy freshly grilled meals from the propane grill poolside on the picnic table or outdoor bar. The driveway offers covered parking for 4 and uncovered parking for 3-6 depending on the size of your vehicle.



A Wedge Away is approximately 300 ft from the closest beach access point on Shallotte Blvd. Guests will also appreciate the newly improved beach access ramp nearby, offering handicap-accessible entry to the shoreline for added ease and comfort.



Kitchen amenities include: a blender, drip and Keurig coffee maker, toaster, mixer, and a waffle maker.



The pool is open year round, however between April 1 - Oct 31 the heater will be on and typically keeps the pool water between 80-84 degrees depending on outside air temperatures and weather. There is no additional cost to heat the pool, but we can not guarantee the pool water temperatures due to the dependency of the weather and air temperatures. Please keep in mind that the heater only runs when the pool pump is running and typically the pump does not run at night due to time schedule.



*Please note, pools will NOT be heated November 1 - March 31*. If you want us to attempt to heat the pool during this time we can for a cost of $75 per day for your entire stay, but once again, we can not guarantee the pool water temperatures due to the dependency of the weather and air temperatures.



The pool and/or spa is private and unattended, so swim at your own risk. All children must be supervised in the water at all times by an adult. No food, drinks, alcohol, glass, etc are allowed in or around the pool. Pools are serviced regularly, however please keep in mind that due to the tropical nature of the island, it is not unusual to find unexpected debris and sand in the pool.



We cannot guarantee the elevator will be working due to circumstances out of our control. Please read elevator instructions CAREFULLY before operating (found in the notebook at the home). User error will result in a $100 service charge. No children are allowed in the elevator without an adult. Use at your own risk.

Bicycles and Golf Carts are easy to rent from local businesses and are a fun way to get around the island during your stay.

PLEASE READ RULES / NOTES PRIOR TO BOOKING:



Your cleaning fee does include whole house linen and towel rental fee. Linen and towel service includes top and fitted sheets per bed, pillow cases, and 1 set of towels will be provided per person (1 set includes: 1 body towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth), and a kitchen towel.



**(Last minute bookings: We need at least 24-hour notice in order to provide linens).



We highly recommend trip insurance and will not give any refunds for weather related trip interruptions or cancellations as well as any other situations that may cause you not be able to travel or use the property.



Due to homeowner severe allergies, some homes may not allow service or support animals. You must disclose and get permission for any service and or support animals PRIOR to booking.



While you paid a cleaning fee, if you leave the home excessively dirty and don’t follow check out procedures, an additional cleaning charge may apply that you will be responsible for paying.



Included in your reservation is a security deposit insurance policy that can cover you for accidental damages to the home or contents, however all damages may not be covered and if denied, you will be liable / responsible for paying any damages in their entirety.



You must be at least 26 years old to book and if your group is not related, the average age of all adults (not including children) must be 26 years old or older. We do not allow people to book for other people, the person who makes and pays for the reservation must also stay in the home.



Sorry, NO house parties, prom events, weddings, rehearsal dinners, or any other events of any kind.



NO Smoking inside or on/around the premise (you will be charged a $500 fee if this rule is broken).



NO charcoal grills, fire pits, or deep fryers are permitted on premise.



Please be aware that there are exterior security cameras located on the premises directed towards the parking area and/or entrances for added security and peace of mind.



Please note if there is a fireplace, it is decorative only and not to be used.



We provide a basic starter pack of essentials for your first day including a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, hand soap, a roll of paper towels in the kitchen, and a trash can liner per bin.

    This house is amazing! Not only is it listed accurately it had a ton of amenities we didn’t even know about. The garage is packed full of really cool things to use around the island and on the third floor the storage under the TV has a lot of board games to use, adult games, children’s toys. The kitchen is fully stocked with any kitchen gadget or utensils you may need so there are no last minute trips over the bridge for things your forgot or items to keep your family busy! I love the setup of the house especially for our group me my husband and our friend with small children stayed on the third floor because that floor has a baby gate to keep them safe from stairs! The second floor was the teenage girls and grandparents the room with all the bunk beds was amazing for them and it kept upstairs quiet from all their giggles. The pool was heated and with all the floats and cornhole and the grill in the back you are pretty set for a really great family night! I love that the pool is not super deep as well. There are a lot of balcony accesses some being private and some more open. Honestly it’s a really great house! All the beds are comfortable the one bad thing I will say about the place is they charge you extra for sheets and towels. I could get past the towels but fitted sheets and pillow cases and top sheets being an extra charge is a bit out of pocket. I’ve never stayed anywhere else that does this so that is my only warning about the property.

    One of the best houses I have stayed in. The view was amazing from every floor. The house was clean and well equipped. Elevator easy to operate especially for the elderly. The point of contact very friendly and accommodating. Would book again without hesitation!

    We booked this house again for next year even before we were done with our vacation this year. It was the perfect space for our two families and the kids range from 2-18 and 2 sets of parents. We can not wait to go back next year.

    This house is a perfect location to the beach and the best equipped kitchen I have seen to date. This stay was a retirement celebration with 11 family members and we enjoyed our visit. My only feedback would be to provide at least two towels person and kitchen towels to help us clean.

    My family had a wonderful stay here! The house was so beautiful and clean. The view was great, with ocean views. The kids enjoyed the games, books and toys. The kitchen was well stocked (even had two dishwashers!)and so pretty. The pool was a good temperature, and the l beach a short walk away and very quiet. I hope to return!

    We have been renting at OIB for the past 25 years…both ocean front down in the gated community, and canal locations and this house is by far our favorite!! Cleanest home we have ever rented and best equipped. Communication was beyond outstanding and you absolutely cannot beat the location, Beach access proximity, amenities and full beach and ocean view were all perfect.
