Middle Thorne Lodge was more than we could have hoped for, spotlessy clean, modern, comfortable and well equipped. The lovely welcome pack from the owners was very much appreciated. The location is spot on for exploring the surrounding area, Saunton Sands a 5 minute drive, and a 15 minute walk to the Tarka trail. We recommend the Williams arms and Heanton Court for food and drink. There is a lovely garden Centre a 10 minute drive towards Barnstable, well worth a visit great for a rainy day. Relaxing in the well maitained hot tub was a lovely addition. A fantastic break all round. We would love to return one day.

If you want a quiet, comfortable, dog friendly place to stay which is near to Braunton Burrows and Saunton Beach then look no further. We have stayed in two of the available lodges and each has a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. The outside space is enclosed and ideal for dogs. We were grateful for the 'Welcome Pack' and tea, coffee etc, available to use during our stay. Our host was welcoming and available to answer any queries.

We had booked for New Year and were very pleased to find an excellent, clean and comfortable lodge in a great location - good for beach walks and access to local facilities. Dog friendly too and we particularly enjoyed the hot tub!

The lodge is in a good location being in a quiet position on the edge of Braunton and 10 minutes walk to the plenty of pubs, restaurants, shops and cafes that Braunton has to offer. The lodge is in immaculate condition and very clean and well equipped. The enclosed garden is a bonus for dog owners. Plus of course the hot tub to relax in is another bonus

We have been back multiple times and it’s always the same service we receive. Sarah is so hands on and available when needed and the place is always clean with milk, biscuits and a bottle of bubbles every single time. She will always be happy to put up decorations for any special event or take delivery of presents to your cabin. All in all amazing service every time and we have such a nice time there

My partner, my dog and I all had a wonderful time at Middle Lodge. Booking and instructions before arriving were all really easy to follow and contained loads of helpful information about the Lodge and places to go nearby, it was really nice to see thought go in to things you can do with your dog. The Lodge itself was really peaceful and private, we were there for a week and it just flew by. And there is so much to do nearby, we just had a great time, highly recommended, thank you!!!
