Stayed Jul 27, 2024Loved the location and really enjoyed the outside by the lake. The kitchen was great. The place was listed as air conditioned but it was only two rooms. The front screen door was broken so hard to get that cross breeze going since had to leave the door shut. The place did not look like the pictures on the outside. The front was very overgrown.

Stayed Feb 17, 2024We had a lovely time at Ivars’ place in Barnstead. The listing was as pictured/described and super clean! Ivars was very responsive and went out of his way to check-in with us during our stay. Check-in was contactless and smooth, with Ivars even allowing us to check-in a little earlier than listed. There was plenty for the children to do, with Gunstock only a 30 min drive away and plenty of hiking options. This would definitely be a nice spot to return to during the warmer months when you can enjoy the lake more! Would recommend staying here!

Stayed Jul 8, 2023Very cozy house with plenty to do. Community beach and pool are a short paddle away. Fun toys for little ones and lake equipment for everyone. Ping pong table is a huge perk. Property and house were well kept. Master bed is super comfy. You will love it here. We booked twice because it was so great. Thanks Ivars!

Stayed Aug 20, 2022We loved our time on Locke lake and in Ivars home. Everything was as we expected it to be: lovely and easy. Very quaint community. The highlight was the private sand beach where our kids made elaborate sand castles and spent hours uninterrupted. The house itself was great easily sleeping all six of us. Ivars was extremely responsive usually texting back with in a few minutes. Great stay. Highly recommend!
