Stayed Nov 9, 2024This property was a wonderful place to get away and unplug! The house is very well equipped. The hot tub and sauna were a nice addition and it was close enough to town that you could walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Nov 9, 2023Our stay at Octhaus was all we had hoped for and more. Amazing space, beautifully decorated. it was perfect for our group of 2 families with kids from 10 to 15. We really enjoyed the Christmas market in Nordegg and the Miner's Cafe.

Stayed Aug 5, 2023The property was exactly as advertised and Candace was very easy to deal with and quick to respond. Lots of room for our family of 9! The hot tub was very nice after hiking coliseum! The house had everything we needed to cook our meals for 6 days. Everything was nicely labelled, making it easy to find whatever we needed. There was lots of space to gather, but still cozy spaces to relax, nice firm beds, Bluetooth speakers and a vinyl record player to use. There are so many great outdoor activities in and around Nordegg, and OktHaus made a perfect home base, we will be back!!

A quiet private location nestled in the forest, beautiful unique high end home, outdoor hot tub, outdoor fireplaces, eclectic vinyl selection for record player, home stocked with everything you could need for a special time away creating memories with loved ones. Truly a famiky favorite for us.

Stayed Apr 27, 2023Lovely home and surroundings. After a long hike up coliseum we enjoyed the hot tub. Had some issues with the hot water in the house as this smart house decided we didn’t need hot water between 6-10 pm. Minor inconvenience as the surroundings were so amazing we made it work. Lots of laughter games wine and great food with wonder friends. We will be back.

Stayed Feb 23, 2023We truly enjoyed our time at the Okt Haus. The minimalist Scandinavian decor is fabulous, so clean, organized and everything we could need. The whole concept of the house is truly inspirational, cozy heated concrete floors, built in storage everywhere, beautiful kitchen, fantastic fire place, hot tub, and moutains. Favorite memories; sitting by a crackling fire listening to the record player while looking at a sky full of stars(windows in the place are amazing!!!) and sitting in the hot tub watching the sun peak through the trees and sparkle off the fresh snow blowing from the branches as it created a show just for us. Any questions we had the owner was quick to respond and the answer was found right away. I would recommend this place to everyone I know. We will be back for sure.
