Nestled between the great city of Chattanooga, TN and the beautiful Sequatchie Valley, the Kitty George House offers the best of both worlds. Located .5 miles to the entrance to the Prentice Cooper State Forest. The multi-use regulated forest has 35 miles of hiking trails, scenic overlooks into the Tennessee River Gorge – nature at its best! Go down the west side of the mountain and you will arrive in theSequatchie Valley. Here you can visit the Children’s Holocaust Memorial in the town of Whitwell or visit Top of the Rock and enjoy a beautiful view while dining. The Trial Training Center is 18.3 miles away. A short 15-minute drive down the east side, and you will arrive in Chattanooga to enjoy all the downtown fun – the Tennessee Aquarium, the Discovery Museum, High Point Climbing and Fitness, the Walnut Street Walking Bridge, plus much more!
