A Real Southern Charm- Dog Friendly- less than 3 miles to Carolina Beach

Everything they thought of to stock to make our stay as wonderful as possible is what I so appreciated about this property. The coffee bar was delightful, a full roll of paper towels plus one extra was left for our use, plenty of silverware, everything you need to BBQ on the little grill outside, plenty of pillows, plenty of bar soaps plus liquid hand soap and I could go on! This may seem to some what you can expect to get everywhere you go but we found out that’s not a given and may even be uncommon. We stayed in Carolina Beach in October and were dismayed to arrive (after driving over 7 long hours) in a place that had almost no toilet paper in one bathroom and none in another. The only soap they had were bottles of liquid soap that had almost no soap left in the bottles. The view that they claimed to have you had to bend over the railing to see the ocean view which wasn’t really all that great. There were only a few spoons, forks etc - not nearly enough to make it through the day. I called the rental agent twice about two different issues and she never called back! And this place was twice as expensive! Yikes! The couple who own and rent the property we so enjoyed were so attentive but certainly not overly so. Lisa, was so sweet and wanted to make sure all was well - it made us feel welcome, as if they were expecting family members or friends! The neighborhood was so charming, we loved walking our dogs there. A very NICE, clean (disinfected) and neat place to stay!!

I thought everything was good at the house and lived up to the description that was on the listing. However, we did encounter a couple of cockroaches in the showers as well as a centipede that was curled up in the middle of the floor when we came back from the beach. My daughter also said that she found some other bugs in the closet area.

Easy check in, owner emailed me check in details a day before. They had everything you could think of for the stay. Nice size backyard for my 2 dogs. House was very clean. Thank you for having us!

Clean, quiet, relaxing

We came in to work with builder on a new home. This home was the perfect oasis to stay with our dogs. Location is great with a few miles to Carolina Beach and many conveniences within 5-10 minutes. Would stay again.

Our first time renting a home and it was amazing! Such a nice, clean, quaint place! Very welcoming with coffee, tea and condiments available! Would definitely highly recommend!

We went for Mother’s Day and it rained all weekend. This location is a close drive to Carolina Beach. We rode around the beaches in the rain. We also ate at Wrightsville Beach twice, which is about a 25 minute drive. Very clean! Thank you.

We had a wonderful experience at Lisa and Marks place! It was so clean and comfortable, we felt right at home! I had a few questions prior to arrival and Lisa was very fast and friendly when responding! We will definitely be back! Thanks again!

I absolutely loved this rental. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, and in a pleasant location. The backyard fence was nice to have some isolation and privacy. The beds slept very comfortably and were spacious and roomy. It was a perfect weekend getaway for myself and I throughly enjoyed it.
