A-Frame of Mind - Toledo Bend Lakeside Escape

We had a wonderful time and truly enjoyed our experience. The house was inviting and had everything we needed. The covered patio and outdoor fire pit area were great places to hang out.

This is the most cozy place we have ever stayed! We plan to visit again when the weather is warmer to use all of the amenities!

This cabin was perfect for a long weekend stay! My kids loved the infinity game table to keep them occupied during down time. The kayaks were a hit for a morning outing on our one full day at the cabin, with a little “beach” spot for the kids to get out and search for rocks and shells around the corner from where we launched. Even when we had rain, the screened-in back porch made for a great night of watching TV and playing games as a family to end our stay. Would absolutely recommend this location!

This was our first stay at A-Frame of Mind, but it will definitely not be our last! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Every detail of the house was so thoughtfully created. The kids loved the beds and game board upstairs. Bocce ball, corn hole, and fishing off the bank was enjoyed by all!! When relaxing on the back porch or around the fire-pit, we greatly enjoyed the beautiful sights and sounds of nature. We spotted so many different species of birds and were really excited to see eagles! The cabin is located with convenient access to fishing guides. We chartered with two different guides and were amazed with the fish we caught. Thank you Toledo Bend and A-Frame of Mind for a wonderful time; we will definitely be back!

What a gem! The owners provided everything we could possibly need and then some. This was definitely a significant upgrade from our usual Toledo Bend accommodations. This cute cabin is beautifully decorated, clean, stocked with everything you could possibly need (and a few treats you didn’t know you needed), and well-located. We loved the view from the large screened-in porch and spent a lot of time out there. You’re able to keep your boat on the lake, tied to the private wharf right in the back yard for easy access. The owners checked in several times to make sure we had all we needed and responded immediately when we had questions. We’re already reserving our future stays because once word gets out about this gem, I know it’ll be hard to get.
