A Family Friendly Bach

This bach has a lovely setting up against the sand dunes and trees in foxton beach, close to the estuary, and with a walking track over the dunes to the beach at the end of the quiet road. We had a delightful stay, popping over to the beach for a morning swim or a sunset view, having tea on the front porch watching sunrise, walking along the estuary or wandering down to the Ocean Beach Eatery. Beds were very comfortable, shower was good, bathroom and kitchen updated from the classic bach original design. Garden lovely out the back. Jeff was fantastic to communicate with and very kind - I hope you found the bottle of wine we left you :) Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a stay in foxton beach.

Lovely, clean property with all the amenities you could hope for for a family holiday..We were there for a couple of nights, which could have been extended with ease.Only comment that may be of use for those with mobility or sight issues (we had elderly relatives visit) is that like many baches, the floor was uneven and may be a trip hazard. This is unlikely to be a big issue for families with active kids who will enjoy this property and all it offers.Would definitely rebook if revisiting Foxton Beach.

Hi, me and my fiancé had a beautiful time away at your beach bach. Thank you for having us, we had a great time. Clean and tidy space away from the business of life. Only thing we'd say is stocking up on basics like pepper, sugar, hand soaps & cleaning products before we arrived would have been great & easier for us to clean and cook. But, overall would definitely stay here again. Cheers :)

Place was nice and well equipped and lots for the kids. No cleaning fee as it is upto the occupiers to clean after stay, which we didnt mind doing, however the place was very dusty and most rooms needed a good deep clean, every dish we used had not been cleaned properly so doesnt seem like this may be the best way to approach this booking.

Such a lovely kiwi batch. It has everything you need and is in a handy location. We loved the big section and that all of the beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The fireplace was great. There was a dead bird in the fire box

We had two nights for a long overdue friend catch up. The fire did a great job of warming the house and the kitchen had everything we needed to make some delicious meals!

This property was everything that a group of 5 ladies could want.it was very clean and there were 4 bedrooms inside with a set of bunks plus 2 single beds. 2 queen size beds. the only thing that we saw as a trip hazzard was the large rug in the lounge, it did not lie flat, but we rolled it up and popped it behind the couch. other than that the house was just perfect for us

Had such a wonderful time in the house with comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Easy access to the sea, river and great recreational area. Such a bonus to be able to have bikes and play equipment to use. A perfect holiday home!Communication with the owner was wonderful too! Thank you!

Brilliant little batch on the beach close to everything you need, Well suited for a Family but we made it work quite well for Adult's. Would stay here again

Clean, tidy and comfortable. We had great weather and loved that we could open doors to get good air flow. loved the family feel to the bach. Would happily book again. Went for some good walks.

The Bach was a nice place to stay while my son was completing in a sports competition in Palmerston North. The communications with the owner were good. The beach is not far and we enjoyed walking on the beach and watching the sunset from the sand dunes. I recommend the Bach as a place to stay.
