The house was great! There is an awning on the back patio that really helped when the sun was on the back of the house. You can't see the beach from the back patio due to the high dunes, BUT you can from the walkway that takes you down to the beach. There are a couple of high-backed chairs there that provided a spectacular view. It is on the south side of the island, so it is a slow drive getting on and off the place, but who wants to leave such a beautiful house? We were very pleased.The ice machine does not work but the pier is right next door and the Market as well to get ice. No problem there. A beautiful place and a great vacation.Laura

Enjoyed our first visit to topsail beach and stay at this cozy ocean front cottage. The location was in a quiet neighborhood that is very walkable with pups. Loved the wrap around porch and easy access to the beach. The home was comfortable and nicely decorated with all the kitchen essentials needed for cooking. The washer and dryer is located in the basement which didn’t appear to be easily accessible, but was not needed during our stay.

Everything was perfect! Highly recommend!!

The house worked well for us: four adults in three bedrooms. Gorgeous weather. The house was basically equipped and well cleaned. The only issue was no wi-fi and thus no television. The property manager was sympathetic, but unable to help without the home owner who was unresponsive during our stay. We will seek other accommodations next time.

We loved this house and its proximity to restaurants, the pier, and shopping. It could have been cleaner but that didn’t take away from our enjoyment.

The pictures do not do this beautiful place justice. It’s the perfect beach cottage. The smells of the salty beach air, the wonderful patio for optional non-beach sun, the inviting kitchen for additional cooking and family time, ITS UNBEATABLE. Our family had the best time. We made memories, we escaped the cold north, and we did it all together in our own place. We also made some friends with neighbors! Thank you for opening your home to us. It was way more than the listing suggests. Make sure if you have a larger family, you bring extra towels! It wasn’t an issue because they also supply washer and a dryer, but you can never have too many towels.

We had a great time celebrating my mom's birthday. We enjoyed the pet friendly house and porch with all the gates! The weather was upper 70s and 80.

The home is very nice and comfortable. The beach is quiet and not too crowded. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Played bingo at Community Center on Thursday! Great family location.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the charm of finches. The property met our needs perfectly and the only problem was that the week flew by. Loved the privacy and proximity to the beach.
