A Caribbean Fantasy-Lux/Comf/Style/Pool/Tikibar - in Croatan near Boardwalk

Believe the description; it’s not an exaggeration to say that Yvonne’s house has all of the requirements AND the toys to simplify your stay. She has more sand toys than Target. And every other item she lists. More pool floats than will fit in the pool. You get the idea. We tended to split our days: 1/2 at pool or beach (easy flat grassy walk — until HOT sand, with ocean right there) … and then mini-golf, adult golf, some great playgrounds, water park. There is NOT a classic Boardwalk, but there are rides and stores/restaurants — a block from the beach. Car needed for everything, but all is nearby. House is upsidedown, with kitchen/DR/LR on top floor. Lots of carpeted stairs and lots of rooms. Large tables/chairs in both kitchen and DR, with tons of dish-ware and utensils and glasses … and thank goodness for the dishwasher! We had two couples in late 30s/early 40s, with 5yo, 3yo, and 6 mo old, and 73 yo grandma. Brought our own sheets and towels. We used the grill once, and never the bar; we didn’t have time to use it all — there’s SO much. A great week was had by all!!

The house is fun - tropical charm, clean, very well provisioned, easy walk to the beach, sidewalks for walkers, and very comfortable for 11,including adults and kids. The pool on property is a fabulous addition to a beach stay. The owner is easy to access, friendly, and quick to respond. :) She provided lots of information about the house and the area by email and in print. We highly recommend this home away from home! Be ready to do stairs - You will be on three levels.

The house was in a great location. It was amazing. It had everything you needed and then some. The host checked in frequently to make sure we didn’t need anything. It was very clean Would stay again

We Used pool daily, went to ocean, saw dolphins, walk to beach was long. Beach cart with larger wheels would have been nice and easier to navigate. Well equipped home inside and beach and pool supplies were all there.

The place was perfect for my family. I would return to this place again.

If you are looking for a property that has EVERYTHING, this is it! In the mornings we would go to the beach for hours, wash off in the outdoor shower, then used the pool. The entire place was plenty big for our family of 9 (6 adults and 3 kids). Yvonne has been nothing but amazing with her communication from the very beginning. Truly a gem of a place!

What a wonderful nice clean house. It has everything you will need for a beach vacation. The pool is amazing at night with the color changing lights. I can’t wait to go back next time.

The house was amazing! Only a couple of blocks to the beach and a short drive to the boardwalk and restaurants. We spent all week in the private pool. The owner provided all of the beach chairs we could need. I would recommend the house to everyone from families with young children to families like mine with grown children.

This property was as described. Yvonne was very easy to get a hold of, detail oriented, and willing to help. This house was very accommodating for our family of various ages. Pool was great, 3 min walk to beach. You do not have to bring any pool or beach toys/equipment. It is fully stocked! Fun, beach-themed home!

Our children and grandchildren joined us for a family holiday and we all had the very best time. Our hostess, Yvonne, was terrific, the property spacious and clean! The neighborhood was terrific with a very short walk to the private neighborhood beach. And the grands loved the pool!

Incredible! If I could give this house and its owner a 10/10, I would without hesitation. The house was immaculately clean. I have stayed in numerous houses, and this house, by far was stocked with everything you could think of. ( I actually brought more than I needed to bring). The pool and the tiki bar were awesome. We paid the extra price to heat the pool, which was money well spent. The house lies in a beautiful subdivision at the end of a one way street. The beach access was a very short walk and shaded. The beach itself was clean and not crowded at all. A car is necessary to get around, but everything is within a 5 minute drive. The owners of the house left note cards throughout the house explaining how things operate. Communication with the owner throughout the week was prompt and very informative. One day, there was a heightened risk of riptides in our area. I received a text from the owner early that morning describing riptides and an explanation of the flag system. Any issues were VERY minor, and were resolved within 1/2 hour of contacting the owner. We will DEFINATELY RETURN.
