Very relaxing, very well stocked. When we first walked in, it seemed a little dark, but with the lamps lit it turned out light enough. One issue we had was the screen porch filled with hornets when the sun was out. We probably killed about 40, then the next day no issues. Nice walk to the river, with a great swimming hole.
We had eight adults and the rental was the perfect size. Great location close to Winthrop and the east side of North Cascades National Park. We wnjoyed our stay!
I thought the property was nice and the directions, instructions were good. I thought the floors needed to be swept and mopped. The refrigerator didn't close all the way unless you pushed on it. Overall, it was a nice visit.
Three couples were attending a wedding at Sun Mtn Lodge. Location was great 5 minutes to Winthrop and 20 minutes to the lodge. Worked out great. The property was as advertised. Would do it again.
It was perfect!
Easy, workable spaces for 5 women on a hiking trip. Plenty of space. An older house, very clean. Everything worked easily. Clear accurate instructions for everything. Super location. One issue we had was water was dripping out of the dining room fixture upon our arrival during a rain. Rather worrisome. Would have reported it but could tell it wasn’t a new issue. The rain showers we had periodically during our stay didn’t cause a repeat of the drip issue. The overall lighting could be improved. Quite dim, fluorescent feel. Difficult to comfortably work on our group puzzle! Would recommend a stay. Hope to return. I rated communication with property manager as a three because we didn’t have to reach out. Don’t really know how that would have been.
