Stayed Aug 10, 2025We had a great 8 day stay here.. really nice setting looking at the mountains, great clear skies to view the stars as well.... Enjoyed the swimming pool very much , also wondering around the vast gardens was great.... Nice and spacious house with large lounge , kitchen and a big bedroom.... Also enjoyed the odd norman wisdom film from the dvd library in the evenings, great selection of film and TV.... Had a really good time......big thumbs up from us

Stayed Jul 13, 2025Lovely relaxing stay. The villa was great & totally secluded - had everything we needed - the pool was fantastic - not overlooked. Sunset over the mountains was a highlight. Plenty of shade. Pete helpful upon arrival & didn’t both us at all while we were there. Didn’t see him after check in. Our 3 year old son had such a fun time exploring the grounds & playing in the pool. Really expansive shade to keep him protected. Orgiva is a gateway to the seaside, traditional Spanish towns, Granada & beyond. I’d highly recommend this to anyone - children or no children - it’s genuinely a place to energise & restore.

Stayed Oct 26, 2024We had a great week here, the house has everything you need, set in beautiful gardens and with amazing views. Peter is a lovely host. We would definitely recommend this place and would love come back some day. Orgiva is a very friendly town. We would recommend Baraka and Pizza N Love for food and also Nur Bakery for bread and amazing cakes

Stayed Oct 19, 2024This was a holiday we will never forget. We were met by Peter, the most affable of hosts, whose recommendations about what to do and where to eat were extremely useful. The house was lovely - very secluded and the highlight for us was the huge terrace with mountain views. We will remember relaxing here listening to Cat Stevens! Thank you Peter for a wonderful stay.

Stayed Oct 12, 2024We stayed for a week with our children aged 9 and 11. Peter met us and directed us to the property which was walking distance (15 mins) from Órgiva but nicely isolated. The place was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. There was a supermarket and other stores in Órgiva and lucky for us some ripe pomegranates in the garden too! One note for those with younger children is the second bedroom is off the terrace so not connected directly to the main house - this was fine for us and is clear in the description but worth flagging as might not fit so well for younger children. The pool was clean and perfect for a dip and the garden really spacious - we especially enjoyed the terrace where we ate most meals. Locally so much is accessible - we walked into Orgiva a few times and especially enjoyed the market, the library (Don Quixote exhibit!) and eating at Baraka. We also had a lovely coffee and snacks at the Cafe Galinda Plaza. We visited some of the white villages and loved Trevelez -we ate well at the restaurante la fragua- and left with plenty of ham. The kids enjoyed the 3 pigs trail. Kids also enjoyed Soportuja - the witch theme was fun but also a beautiful village and views. We took water from the amazing fizzy spring at Portugos - mixed reviews - I loved it - kids said it 'tasted like old coins smell' - still worth a visit. Thanks so much to Peter for hosting us and providing a little local context. I hope we will be back to the area again in time!

Stayed Aug 17, 2024Very nice villa and pool, in a large garden filled with different fruit trees. It is private, neighbouring houses are a long way away. We didn't have any issues with the road either driving it or walking. Lovely views of the mountains. Thank you Peter, we had a much needed rest and relaxing holiday. Agree with an earlier reviewer, Orgiva has its own vibe. It is very laid back and you can find everything you need.

Stayed Aug 10, 2024Lovely place! We stayed here for the first week of our honeymoon and we loved it! It’s very private and the garden is lovely with lots of fruit trees! We spent a few days by the pool and visiting nearby villages. Other days we went to Granada, to the Alhambra, went on some lovely hikes close by and just really had a full experience. Peter was very friendly and helpful. The house has everything you need and there’s a big shop about 10mins away which also has everything you might need to buy..
