Great location to Marquette. We held my mom's Celebration of Life in the home. Invited many of her local friends. Was very roomy, lots to do. We had 9 of us stay there with plenty of room, not crowded. The young adult (early 20s), loved the pool and ping pong table. Lots of hot sauna, going outside. We had a very enjoyable time and it experience.

We loved the privacy of the ranch, the large visiting areas and there was plenty of sleeping space for our ladies weekend!

My family and I love to stay at Hillcrest. This is our third stay for Easter. Lots of room and tons of activities definitely recommend this.

The house is large and well equipped with plenty of activities for a family. The house was also very clean with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen for cooking. The host Kurt and Krista were very responsive with any questions. Thanks!

The property was spacious for our group and offered entertainment both indoors and outdoors. It was clean and nicely decorated. The location was ideal for commuting to NMU.

Kind and generous hosts. Plenty of space and parking to accommodate our 12 person group. Kitchen and bathrooms well stocked with supplies. Easy check in, and good location for access to Marquette and surrounding areas.

The best place to stay in the Marquette area for large groups! Plenty of room and fun activities. 10 of us got ready for the wedding at the house. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen and living room and the cutest decorations!

This place has now become our favorite garhering olace for all the ages of our family to come and visit our family here! 2nd time staying and it did not disappoint! Omce again look forward to our return next October. Entertainment and fun for all walks of life! Close to all our family as well as all the hikes and walks we did amd do each time! Perfect for the cook (thats me) i always have all i need! Thanks again for another memorable experience and time. Truly our home away from home!

The bedrooms were filled with flies. There were no less than 70 flies when we got there in the king bedroom. (Not an exaggeration). Killed most of them but were back shortly after. Thankfully the vacuum cleaner was newer and worked well.The downstairs toilet seat was very loose. The patio door lock was broken and hard to latch.Windows were filthy.TV was not easy to use.Ice maker was inoperable and was noted in the check-in book but would have been nice to know ahead of time.No access to the sauna. Doors were locked.

The place is really awesome and close to Marquette. Only thing at all was the WIFI is pretty weak. Otherwise fantastic!

Our family of 12 people had an excellent and comfortable stay at Hillcrest Ranch near Marquette. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable. The game room was amazing. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and dishes. We enjoyed the firepit in the back as well. There were plenty of bedsheets and towels. The bathroom was thoughtfully stocked with the I forgot items. Krista and Kurt were great to work with and easy to communicate with. Hillcrest Ranch is very close to many great opportunities- swimming in Lake Superior, hiking at Morgan Falls and Presque Isle Park- about 45 minutes from Pictured Rocks boat rides. The Huron Bakery was great as well as Lake Superior Smokehouse. Also, Meijer Grocery delivers to the house using Door Dash! This was our first vacation to Michigan and it is a happy memory thanks to our comfortable stay.

My wife and 4 kids, aged 7-16, stayed for nights. PROS: We loved the location, easy to get to Marquette and other sites. Kids loved the table games. Kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of utensils dishes, etc and things, like a soft-sided cooler we could bring along for picnic lunches at waterfalls. CONS: honestly not much, There are some little things that could be improved, we used the pool table a lot, and while we loved it, it was wobbly. A little more comfy seating in the main room might be nice to watch a movie together. Not sure how often lawn is mowed, but it made our croquet game adventurous! There was stand up video game that did not seem to work (plugged it in and did not see to start). OVERALL, great place, accurately described, and would definitely book again. Check out and Check in super easy and communication was very good. Would recommend for a family a friend gathering!

We spent 6 days in this lovely house. We enjoyed having all the room with 6 little kids under 8. There's a game room with pool table and ping pong table. The home was very clean & decorated beautifully. They had thought of everything, down to extra toothbrushes if we forgot ours. They had setup a place for flyers of places to eat & drink. The backyard is gorgeous. It offered a wonderful to relax. The firepit area was perfect for evening smores. The home is located in a pretty area and within a short distance to hiking, shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be staying there again on our next visit to the area.

The property was a good size and had many extras to keep several friends comfortable and entertained. It is an easy drive to Marquette and attractions. We would stay here again when visiting the area.

All was great. Had to change one set of sheets as there was dog hair on them. TV in bedroom did not come on. All VERY MINOR ISSUES. Great house for family. Looking to come back for snowmobiling.

Nice older.family home. Spacious layout with many bedrooms. Some items needing a little.more.TLC to keep up to date. Fix things broken, bulbs burned out. Pillows need to be replaced.and updated.

Stayed here for the second time in a row for LSPR with some other teams, great size house and ideal location!

What a fantastic property and was as exactly as advertised, with plenty of room for all of us. The location was close enough to Marquette. I found it Peaceful and quiet with plenty of on-site activities for everyone such as the pool table (which got the most use), ping pong, outdoor grill, sauna, and fire pit. The kitchen has all of the supplies and made our stay very pleasant. The house was very well kept and clean. Everything we needed was provided. If you're ever heading to the Marquette area, this is a must stay!
