Stayed Dec 21, 2025The Otters Den is a hidden gem. The house was very clean. The kitchen had everyting we needed. We spent most of the time successfully fishing in the canal. We did a manatee tour that was outstanding. The host lived next door and was very attentive and friendly. This was a wonderful house and we'll be back this summer for scalloping.

Stayed Aug 27, 2024Great large house with lots of extras. Large garage that can fit a truck. Large dock space and good trailer parking. The turn on the road is tight with a larger trailer, but manageable. Will definitely will stay again.

Stayed Jul 21, 2024Wonderful week at Otters Den again. Our second stay there and already booked again for next years scallop season. Everything was in order. The home is well appointed with everything you could possibly need (and more) for a nice stay. Terry is a great host and the neighbors are very friendly too which is something you may not often get during a busy rental season! Local dining locations can get very crowded, so we opted to provision the week to eat at home which turned out to be a much better and relaxing option although we did dine out our last night.
