Whether you are interested in birding, boating, fishing or simply watching the sun set, The Copano Pelican’s Landing has it! The Copano Pelican’s Landing is a 6 bedroom house located on Copano Bay near Rockport, Texas. Copano Bay is known on the Texas Coast to have EXCELLENT fishing. We have caught over 40 fish in one evening off the fishing pier.

This house is not a canal home but a BAY home and fully equipped with EVERYTHING you might need for your stay. You need only bring yourself, food and clothes. We provide everything else including all linens, towels, pans, dishes, etc. There are not 5 cups, glasses and plates here. There is PLENTY of good plate, pans and utensils. We are KID and PET FRIENDLY!!! We have 5 kids of our own and have tried to include all the things to keep the kids entertained.

When you are at The Copano Pelican’s Landing, if feels like you are a million miles from civilization, but you are only 10 minutes to a Super Walmart! You drive through ranch land and then, suddenly, you emerge in a Jewel of a place on a wonderful bay.

The Copano Pelican’s Landing is a luxurious two story house that has two master bedrooms with oversized tiled showers and one with a large soaking tub. Enjoy our Large Flat-Screen TV’s and Spectrum Cable. For the little ones, we have a play set out back.

Right out the back door is Copano Bay and your own 400 foot lighted pier with direct access to the water. The pier has a T-Head at 200 ft. and halfway out with lights and benches as well as a T-Head all the way out at the end. Copano Bay is full of redfish, shark, trout, flounder, gafftops, whiting, croakers, sheepheads and drum. There is no commercial fishing in the Bay so fishing is GOOD! Bring your boat! There is a boat launch very close by, and you can tie it up to our pier. Also, with your boat, you have easy access to Port Bay, considered by all to have some of the best fishing on the Texas Coast!

For the wildlife enthusiast, there is an abundance of wildlife in the area. You can see deer, raccoon, possum, turkey, rabbit and other wild animals in and around the area. Rockport has several Wildlife areas in and around town.

There are a number of birding sites within a few miles of the house including Goose Island State Park also on Lamar Peninsula. Go to https://aransaspathways.com/ to see a good list of the birding sites in the area.

Rockport is a short drive away with a nice sandy city beach, museums, shopping, great places to eat (plus a few dives) and antiques. Go to https://www.rockport-fulton.org/51-Things-To-Do for a list of a LOT more things to do and place to see around Rockport!

OMG.............Let me tell you first off how amazing our trip was!!! I am for certain not a napper but I ended up taking 3 naps in one day that's how relaxed I was.. Although we didn't catch any KEEPERS the fishing was great too! My son fished from 7 AM- Midnight every night we were there. I also felt very safe in the neighborhood going running everyday. Kitchen had everything you could ask for.....and the showers.......i could live in there. :) We will for sure be back for our next getaway!

Everything inside and out was very clean. Worked out great for our family gathering to celebrate our dad's 90th birthday. We had 4 generations and they all enjoyed it. The yard was perfect for the 2 year old, the back deck was a great place for those of us who were not fishing to sit, talk and enjoy the breeze. Great kitchen, plenty of seating inside snd out.

My husband and I spent the days with our kids and grandkids. There was plenty of room in the common area/great room for all of us to hang out and not feel crowded. The rooms were also very spacious and some with very nice views. The rest of the house was very nice and clean too. The grown up kids kayaked several times.I enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen and queuing on the grill out front on the lanai. We fished every day and night and caught a variety of fish. Our best catch was a 4 ft alligator gar and lot's of catch and release. Lot's of speckled trout. I myself caught a lot of bait fish LOL. We had such a wonderful time that we are already booking our next stay for October 2025.

Our family has spread out all over Texas over the years and getting us all together at the same time is nearly impossible. Your house was the perfect place to gather all 21 of us for the first time in ages. We had beds for everyone without being on top of each other. The huge kitchen, living and dining area made cooking and gathering fun and easy. But our favorite place was the back patio overlooking the bay. We laughed, ate, fished, hunted Easter eggs and played the whole time. Would highly recommend this beautiful house to anyone.

We loved our stay here. 6 bedrooms (one in a separate building but super close), great layout for chatting (enough chairs so everyone could sit there), great peri access to the water, kayaks, etc. it is at the beach, so sand, waves, and sun should be expected!Rockport is a nice little town with two groceries and plenty of restaurants. We did outdoor stuff (Aransas, Goose Island, Rockport Beach). Saw all kinds of wildlife, including many birds, alligators, and javalina (all in the parks). Owners are super responsive if you have something that needs help. And - pet friendly if your pet is well behaved. Yard is not completely fenced, but our old dog never went out of the fenced area…

We did not receive any communication from the property manager prior to our stay. I had to call and request the access code on the day of our arrival. The property was lovely, spacious and in a great location. However it was a bit musty so we purchased candles and that helped. There were also some plumbing issues that we had to contact the owner about in the master shower; they sent someone out the following day. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave.

This is such a beautiful home! The pictures do not disappoint! We were a group of 9 adults and 4 teenagers. Had plenty of room. We were able to cook large breakfasts and dinners and had everything we needed. Loved waking up early to see dolphins swim by almost daily. Highly recommend!

Very nice place to stay. We enjoyed the house and there was plenty of room for all. No negative on the house, only issues we had was the trash cans were full and never got picked up. BBQ grill was not cleaned either. Other than that it was a great place to stay
