Stayed Jul 18, 2025We enjoyed the stay because we are go with the flow kind of people. I initially thought Debbie was great. But she kept charging fees upon fees. The advertisement states there is a grill available for use. We get there and she tells me the grill is broken so she offers to get a new one. But we would have to pick up and put together. Sure no worries. We are good people and just did it. Took my cousin’s boyfriend over an hour to put together AND we had to go get tools to put it together because there were none. We forgot to clean it when we left and she charged a cleaning fee for the grill! After everything we did for her. There is a room that was the garage at one point that is very hot. Even with the ac unit in there it never cooled down. It’s a nice house in a nice area, just don’t go out of your way to do anything because you’ll get charged for it lol

Stayed Jun 11, 20253 stars - it wasnt the worst property, but not the best either. Here are impressions from everyone that stayed - Yard - needed to be mowed but not super over grown (would have helped w skeeters) LR was spacious, good game & puzzle selection, however the windows did need to be cleaned (dirty with cobwebs & dead flies) - however we didnt open curtains to keep it cooler so didnt notice until i looked out them towards the end of the stay. - Kitchen - ok size, small 4 person table , newer fridge but stove definitely needs updated. No dishwasher but it was ok we hand washed dishes. Could have used a bigger skillet to cook more than 2 or 3 burgers at a time, but decent selection of pots and pans. Bedrooms - big one with washer & dryer was very hot even with ac & fan in there, the couple that stayed in that one said toilet was dirty first time they used it, i didnt see this so i cannot confirm or deny it. The one that was supposed to have 3 twin beds turned out to be a twin bed w/ a pull out twin underneath it, and the 3rd one was i guess the little cushion seat that looked like a chair, so no not really 3 beds in there. The bedroom me my husband & son stayed in was very cute, there were charger plugs already in the room so that was nice. The last bedroom was supposed to have the queen and a twin bed, there was no twin bed, but the couple that stayed there had a pack and play. Some of the rules were ridiculous (3 min showers only) one trash can of trash) We had 12 ppl at times

Stayed May 23, 2025The house itself and location was great. The house is a little outdated but it was comfortable for my family of 12. It does sleep at least that many, however, once we arrived and read the house rules we found that they have a small septic system and we would need to limit our showers to 3 minutes each and we couldn't throw out used toilet paper in the toilet, we had to put it in a trash can. We were told we could use the firepit but there was so much plastic and cans in there, even though the house rules specifically said only trash. The washer sucked, kept saying unbalanced even with a super small load. I ended up hand-ringing out our clothes to put in the dryer. Dryer worked great. Overall the place served its purpose and my family had a good vacation.

Stayed Oct 30, 2024We had an absolutely wonderful time at this 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom property in Rockport Beach. The house was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. Each bedroom was comfortable and well-appointed, providing plenty of space for our group to relax and unwind. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, and the living areas were perfect for gathering together. We especially loved the outdoor space – the patio was a great spot for morning coffee and evening drinks, and the proximity to the beach was unbeatable. The location was ideal, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and shops. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway in Rockport Beach!

Stayed Jul 19, 2024The house wasnt clean, the grass wasnt cut, the bathroom was clogged and the septic water was coming up in the shower. Overall our experience at the house was not a great one. I rate it a 2 because communication with the owner was great but our stay was not good

Stayed Jul 13, 2024We just needed a place to stay the night for our first ocean adventures. We cook all our food from scratch so we needed a kitchen and this one worked well. We had 4 kids with us ranging from 8-5 who all had plenty of room to sleep and play. The initial reviews had me worried but turns out they were wrong. No bugs. No bites on my kids. Huge back yard. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed Jul 11, 2024If you need a clean comfortable place for your group this is it!!! The house is spacious with a huge yard. The kitchen had everything we needed. Only a few minutes to downtown Rockport and Beach. Easy access to 35 if you want to head over to Port Aransas. We will most defiantly stay here again.

Stayed Jul 3, 2024Beautiful decor, comfortable with all the necessities, back bedroom window not properly secured (we had to saw the board left to secure the window to a length that would keep it from being opened from the outside), back sliding door not properly secured with cross bar and lock difficult to work, lots of dead bugs in house and dead cockroach in my bedroom, very comfortable beds, filthy coffee pot inside and out (i spent a long time cleaning it before use), k-cup coffee maker wouldn’t work, minutes from the beach, easy to get to, doggy door not in main house but in room in garage (we did not use that part of the house, so I had to let my dog in and out), big living room, nice TV, the window curtains & sheers were beautiful but the sheers on the bedroom windows allowed people to see in at night, decent neighborhood, crumbs or something under my bed, beautiful huge back yard (I had to secure several areas under the fence with bricks, logs, and posts that I found because my dog got out under the fence), plenty of hot water, bathroom door lock doesn’t keep the door from being pushed open, and AC works very well! Front door lock instructions need to be updated. It took me a while to find the modem to get the password for the WiFi because it was hidden behind a chair and sitting amongst a bunch of dead bugs. It was nice enough, but I probably won’t go back due to the lack of secure windows and door locks, and the dead bugs everywhere. Owners were very nice.

Stayed Jun 26, 2024This was a very nice experience. The house was clean and well stocked. I especially like the art work that was through out the house. Who ever did it did a good job. The host was pleasant and communicated promptly. I will be staying here again, and will be recommending this place to family and friends. The only complaint I have is my stay was only for one night. I wil be stay longer next time.
