5BR home in Old Homestead 1 with Private Beach. 10 min. to Cedar Point, Huron OH

Pros: Great communication with the host, location was good, plenty of room as described. Bathrooms were clean and beds/bedding was comfortable. Sitting areas would be great for multiple familes with children.Cons:House had an odor. It smelled like it was an old farmhouse or your grandparent's place, likely due to the old carpet. It would be a 10/10 if they replaced the flooring. I would 100% stay there again when they resolve this issue. Overall a nice vrbo.

We had a wonderful time! The home was spacious enough for our family and the neighborhood is perfect.

Super clean house, matched the listing well.Only complaints were how hot it was upstairs where all the bedrooms were, no curtains upstairs on the windows so it was very bright of a morning and the lock box was finicky. We got it finally but having nails made it super hard to get it to slide down to unlock.

Musty house with dated furniture and appliances. Stay was ok, mostly at the beach so used for eating and sleeping.Host insanely picky about cleanup----post it notes everywhere, then tried to nickel and dime for cleaning fees. Would not recommend.

We had a great time. It has basically two living rooms, so plenty of space for those that need it. The beds were comfortable (which is unfortunately not common with rental houses).We loved watching the sunset (and seagulls) at the beach. It was close enough to everywhere we wanted to go.

The home is wonderful. Everything you need for a week at the beach! The space is great and you can't hear what is happening downstairs when you are up! Love it..Maggie is/was great to work with. We will definitely be back next year!O'Malleys and Kings!

The house is very clean & there are 5 bedrooms & 2 baths…perfect for a family to spend time together!

Cute beach house in a quaint neighborhood! It had all the amenities you would want for both the home and for beach days. We grew up in this neighborhood and it was wonderful coming back and seeing the town now.

This is the best property that we have stayed in. Great location for o CP and fishing.

This was our second time with Maggie and our stay was fantastic. House was clean and ready for us, and the area had more than enough to do to satisfy everyone!

The house was perfect for our size group. The house was really clean and well stocked with all the amenities of home. We really appreciated all the nice touches, e.g. the snack basket, and it was very well stocked. Being so close to the beach was also nice.The house smelled a bit musty and could have used some airing out prior to our arrival.The only negative is the early checkout of 10:00am on Sunday morning. An additional hour would have been helpful.

Beautiful roomy home with plentiful amenities. We will be back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the lake. We loved the communication, cleanliness, and seamless process of checking in and out. 10/10 recommend!

Excellent stay with amazing hosts.

We came out for a 2 night trip to Cedar Point. The house was clean and well kept. The upstairs was warm with not much cool airflow but the host did provide fans to help move the air around. Great stay 10/10.

From the moment we walked through the door the feeling of visiting grandma’s seemed to hit everyone. It was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Hosts were very friendly and the house was sticked with all the charm and beach items you could want.

Everything was exactly as described. Great location with a park across the street and a couple of blocks from the beach. House was stocked well and everything was clean.
