500 ft from beach in Duck! Charming OBX cottage The Cozy Duck 4 bd/2 ba

This house was a reasonably close walk to the beach, but also very secluded and woodsy. The layout of the rooms was excellent for two couples, allowing a little privacy for each. AC worked very nicely. The living room furniture definitely needs replaced. The queen bed was a bit too firm. Bath mats were not supplied.

A really great place to stay. Close to the beach, walking distance to downtown Duck.

I can’t tell you how absolutely fabulous this place was! The host was wonderful and the property was everything we needed!

The Cozy Duck is a very charming place! There was enough space for us as a family of six with a dog. We absolutely loved the location, just 3 minutes down the road to get to the beach and Duck is also in easy walking distance. We had a great time!

Overall impression was very good! Clean, great appliances, comfortable beds and furniture. Easy check in and easy check out. We would stay at the Cozy Duck again, but I would ask that the trees next to the decks be trimmed back. We had to duck to avoid the over hanging branches going up the steps to the entrance, which didn’t feel very welcoming. The interior of the house is lovely.

We had a wonderful week! The location of this property was just perfect. My daughters loved walking down the road to the beach every day - a short 2 minute walk!! We were able to check in earliwe than expected, which was a very nice surprise!

Cottage is cute and close to the beach! Susan was a wonderful host and promptly reponded when needed. We'd love to come back again!

We loved this house, especially the location. Everything was exactly as described, with a super short walk to the beach. My family had a wonderful week in Duck!

The cottage is ideally located to the beach. And while ‘cozy’ there is plenty of room for each person to find a nook for themselves.The cottage is a throwback to the late’80s - early ‘90s, but totally functional.The boardwalk is within walking/biking distance, but not easily doable during our week.The house gave us what we needed for our heatwave week.

Great location, within a short walk to the beach and nice walking paths to shops, restaurants.

This property met all the needs and wants of my family for an extended weekend in the OBX. The shops and restaurants of Duck are a one minute drive away, while a private beach access is a three-five minute walk down the street. Our kids enjoyed the loft, and my wife and I enjoyed the outdoor patio for morning coffee. The host was communicative and seemed prepared which gave us comfort during booking in the event we would need to contact during our stay (fortunately we did not). There were multiple BBQs on site (we did not use) and a small private backyard if you're traveling with pets. We did not cook but the kitchen was well stocked and most importantly the coffeepot accommodates both K-cups and a full pot :). No issues with the bathrooms, they were clean and fully functional. Overall would recommend and consider staying again in the future. Thank you for having us, Cozy Duck

The property was great super clean and great for a larger group (we had 6 people). Location is perfect right next to the beach and minutes from Duck shops. Definitely recommend.

Very accommodating to our needs and a wonderful, cozy home. Location from the beach cannot be beat!

My husband and I decided last minute to get away for a few days with our pups. This place was available and perfect for our needs! There was more than enough room for the two of us. The loft is a great hideaway spot and the deck off that room was great. My only suggestion would be a deep clean, as I had to look under the sofas for something and there were quite a few things under it that you could tell had been there for a while. With that being said, the kitchen and baths were clean and the queen bed was very comfortable.
