5 minutes from Downtown East Tawas, On The Rocks is a cottage on Lake Huron

So many little things left for us ,hot chocolate ,smores ingredients,and the perfect little cozy place ,so cute so well stiled. The lake view was incredible ,you are truely right on the water. We loved it!

The place was amazing, clean and well stocked with extra little things that made it like home. Sun rises were amazing and camp fires every night and so many stars. Thank you for a great stay that made my wife's birthday perfect.

This was the best Vbro we have stayed at. Perfect location, super clean/comfortable, host very helpful and responsive, they had EVERTHING you could possibly need and then some. Definitely would stay here again.

On The Rocks Cottage is an impeccable property. It is well appointed and very comfortable. Love the sunroom for cooler outdoor temps. Listening to Lake Huron was one of the many highlights of our stay! Thank you Kim! We shall return.

This was an adorable little cabin in an amazing location. It was spotless with easy check-in. From the location to the decor, it really made you feel like you were up north.

It was perfect. On the water, beautiful views. The house was super cute and stocked with games, toys, beach stuff, etc. I would go back in a heartbeat.

We had a great family vacation at “on the rocks”. Location was great, just north of town with a beautiful lake view. Very clean and lots of little extras - snacks, s'more's, popsicles that the kids loved, coffee and creamer, beach toys and towels, etc. The hosts thought of everything you could need for a home away from home! Thanks for a great stay, we look forward to visiting again!

This is our second year staying at On The Rocks and it was just as wonderful of a stay as our first visit! Excellent house, close to Tawas and Oscoda, and everything you could want for a memorable stay.

Absolutely perfect. Cabin was so cozy and beautiful. Very clean and just felt like home. All the thoughtful little touches , the hosts really put their hearts into it. From the majestic sunrises to the bonfires on the beach at night, we didn't want to leave. We don't have a bad word to say about anything, we are definitely going back.

Absolutely loved the cabin! Exactly as described. Clean , quiet and super comfortable Fully stocked kitchen, gas grill and treats left by hosts made cooking breakfast or dinner very easy. Location was beautiful. Spend lots of time outside enjoying the views of Lake Huron. 100% recommend for a nice getaway.

It’s tiny but it is CUTE. Very clean and updated. Beds are comfy and so is the living room. Can’t beat the view! Owners provide a lot of little treats and take great care of the place. We loved it!

The house was just right! The morning sunrises were beautifully. I loved the fire pit and the wood and s’mores ingredients provided. It was a wonderful relaxing vacation!

Perfect lakefront cabin, amazing views, exceptionally tidy!

My sister in law and myself got away for a few days. I lost my husband (her brother) a few months ago and wanted serenity and peace...and we got it. Beautiful, newly renovated, clean, quiet, special details, beds are comfortable and love the sheets! Town is close by and lots of places to take picnics. The owners put love into this cottage.

This was an absolutely lovely place to stay. The location cannot be beat and the property itself was clean, well-organized, and so well-appointed. Everything we needed was right there and the hosts truly thought of anything and everything their guests might need. The view was gorgeous, the furniture was comfortable, and we loved our stay. Truly a gem in Tawas. We can't wait to come back and stay here again!

The cabin is so charming and clean! Loved the location as it was close to downtown area and beaches. If I had one thing to suggest, lamps would be nice in each bedroom and another one in the living area. Overall it was a perfect getaway and we’d love to come back next summer

This cottage is the definition of cozy & comfortable! It was like a “warm hug” after spending the day exploring East Tawas. The cottage itself gives off the “upnorth Michigan” vibes with its decor and wood plank walls. It is fully stocked with everything to make you feel at home - fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds and furniture and many other personal touches. The lake views are amazing whether enjoying the wonderful deck, cozying up in the enclosed porch or toasting your marshmallows by the fire! Perfect stay for a relaxing & rejuvenating get away!!!!

Perfect little cottage on the water! The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and cleaning supplies needed. The backyard and the view was amazing and the highlight of our stay! Location was perfect as well with a short drive right into downtown. Would love to stay here again!

We really loved our stay there! Had to leave this morning and didn't want to go. They thought of everything! I even brought stuff for s'mores and it was already there. Cutely decorated and comfortable furniture and all. Spent most of our time there on the deck when we weren't in town and just loved staring at the water or watching the sunrise. Thank you again for an amazing stay. Can't wait to visit again.

Me and my now husband stayed at this beautiful lake house over Labor Day weekend. It was such a lovely house on the inside but the back of the house is the star of the show. The lake view is amazing. We had a couple of bonfires with the provided wood and fire starters. They had cornhole which was very much used, and lots of other things provided in the house. Everyone that came to visit was amazed by the view and I will be keeping this cabin favorited as I will be staying here again!

As others have described, this cottage has a beautiful view right in the backyard of lake Huron. It's a short drive to East Tawas for beaches, shopping and dining. The cottage is beautifully furnished with added little extras for your comfort. We were able to sleep with the winows open so we could enjoy the lake breeze.

What an amazing time watching meteors and roasting marshmallows on the beach! We even saw the Northern Lights! What great hosts they thought of everything!

The perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. Beautiful rock lined beach, perfect for watching sunrises. Great location to explore both Tawas and Oscoda. Easy to find. Super clean and welcoming cabin. We will definitely be back next year.

On The Rocks is the perfect house to stay at when visiting Tawas. Convenient location to East Tawas and the state park, you really do not need to travel far to experience what the area offers. The house is perfect for a family, extremely comfortable and clean, and the host have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, including s’mores supplies, beach towels, and sand toys. Definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to visit the area.

The cottage was just as in the pictures. The property was gret and the view could not be beat! Was only a few minutes to town with nice restaurants and some shopping. The cottage has everything you need to come and relax and enjoy the view! Cant wait to come.back!

We loved the quiet setting. The house was pristine clean and had everything we needed. Comfy beds. We had friends visit and they complimented the nicer furniture. Plenty of towels, chairs and other amenities. My only comment was I wish there was a place to get to the water. The break wall was too much to climb over. The beaches in town which were really close were beautiful though so we just headed there for our beach fix. Overall excellent stay!!

Five of us ladies stayed at On the Rocks. We had a ball. It's a beautiful view of the lake and the camp fire was the best. We do a girl family vacation once a year all over Michigan. This is the cleanest, most well stocked place we have stayed at. Fire wood was so appreciated, coffee and creamer were great too. So many little things you take for granted at home were there. You could walk in there with noting but a brush, cloths, tooth paste and tooth brush and have every thing you need.We didn't cook at all since it was our vacation, but if we wanted too, the kitchen was well stocked from pots and pans to spices. We don't do the same place twice, but we are starting to re-think that. I can not come up with once single negative about On the Rocks.
