Outdoor entertainment options also include a stone patio with a gas grill (backup propane tank included), charcoal grill, and a firepit with seating for up to ten of your closest friends for those late night s’mores. We do provide paper starter, kindling wood and firewood to get you started.
Additional common space features include first floor laundry (with laundry detergent, softener and dryer sheets for your convenience), a first floor powder room, large living room (with a huge couch, flat screen TV, X-box, Playstation, and many board games). We also have a pac n play, high chair and baby gate upon request.

Losee House History
The farmhouse house was originally built circa 1849 by a Dutch family with the surname of Losee (pronounced Lucy). Between 2018 and 2019, our family was able to completely remodel the home, working to preserve and reuse as many original features as possible. Wood floors were saved downstairs and partly upstairs, while furniture pieces (shelves, end tables, coffee table, bar table and TV console) were custom built from original floor joists, stair stringer and
interior framing that was salvaged during the remodel. The home’s original doors were re-purposed to form each headboard in the bedroom suites, as well as a coat rack of door knobs in the entry. Finally, a horse shoe found during excavation has been hung over the door to bring good luck.

We hope that you find our farmhouse has everything, and more, that you will need during your stay.

From our family to yours, welcome to Cooperstown.

We stayed Sept 7-Sept 9, 2024. We were 5 couples. We were so very impressed with this house. Impeccably clean. All brand new. Each couple had their own bedroom with a beautiful bathroom. Two bedrooms downstairs and 3 upstairs. The appliances all brand new, even a washer and dryer. We did not need to use it but if you stayed a week it would be very convenient. Every amenity, Keurig coffee pot, electric Tea kettle, microwave, toaster. A really amazing addition was the wireless chargers in every convenient place you could think of, night stand kitchen table, counters! That was great we didn't even need our chargers. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit on the outside patio. The patio furniture was comfortable and spacious, plenty of seating for all. There is a beautiful BBQ, great big cooler and a sauna, and fire pit. In addition to the fact that it was such a gorgeous place they thought of everything, one couple forgot their shampoo and conditioner, and found some extra in the house, they had laundry soap they had Kcups. She has spices, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, paper towels, games, books, extra towels & blankets TVs literally everything you could think of to make your stay incredibly enjoyable and comfortable. I cannot recommend the Losee house highly enough. Sheri was so friendly & accommodating, Sheri kept in touch and we were even able to have an early check in and late check out. We enjoyed looking at the book with the history of the house and the renovations.

This is a very unique restored farm house brought back from tear down condition. The five suites were equally, cleverly and beautifully constructed and outfitted each with its own bathroom. Much of the restoration was done using salvageable original parts of the house. Every amenity was provided throughout the whole house especially the kitchen. The home provided a comfortable home away from home for our group of five siblings and their spouses. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Cooperstown, NY area, this should be number one on your list.

We have vacationed with this group of college friends for over 50 years. This property was perfect for the 10 of us. Each couple had their own bedroom and bath. The kitchen was spacious and stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. The house was immaculate and comfortable. The outside patio area was awesome! The host was always available by text if we had questions. There were excellent restaurants nearby when we didn’t want to cook. This whole experience was perfect for us.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely home! It was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 3 kids—spacious, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. We especially appreciated the convenience of built-in surface phone chargers at bedsides and throughout the house. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together, and the porch was the perfect spot to relax after long days. We also had fun playing cornhole in the yard! Our trip was centered around the All Star Village (about a 25-minute drive), and although it was a bit of a drive, it gave us the best of both worlds—close enough for daily games, but far enough to enjoy the peace and charm of this beautiful home. The house is also conveniently located near Cooperstown with easy access to grocery stores and anything else we needed throughout the trip—even a great local butcher where we picked up some delicious steaks to grill. We’d absolutely stay here again—highly recommend!

Cooperstown was a great location to bring friends together from various NY and New England locations. The house was located close to the quaint downtown area of Cooperstown and there are many restaurant options close by as well. The Ommegang Brewery was close by and had (20) very unique beer/cider options on tap. I have worked for Marriott Hotels for 37 years and appreciate great accommodations. The Losee house was truly amazing. Spacious gathering places inside and outside gave our group several options. The gourmet kitchen had everything you could possibly need to prepare almost any recipe. All (5) bedrooms with private modern bathrooms were beautifully decorated and had updated fixtures. Communications with our hosts prior to our stay and upon arrival were always timely and informative.

Booked the Losee House for the long Labor Day weekend with the family. Our main reason for the visit was to go to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and experience Cooperstown. The Losee House was everything described and more. We had five adults and two teenagers. Everyone was blown away with the amenities. From the individual temperature controls in each room to the gourmet equipped kitchen, no detail was omitted. Sheri was so great to work with. I expect that we will return for another visit in the near future. Truly a terrific weekend!

My family and I have stayed at many high-end vacation homes and consider this among the best. We shared it with 3 other families for a Cooperstown Dreams Park week. Location could not be more ideal, only a few minutes away. This made it very easy to go back and forth when there was a break in the schedule. The house was very clean, and had everything we could possibly need. High-end finishes, beautiful kitchen with the best appliances. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Loved the patio, grill, and firepit. Sheri was the perfect host - very easy to communicate with. This house is a must when you come to Cooperstown! Worth every penny. Thank you Sheri!

I stayed here with 3 other families while our boys were playing at Dreams Park. It was perfect! It’s exactly as described and pictured. Sheri has every amenity you need there and ready for you to enjoy. She had all paper products, kitchen supplies, garbage bags, soap, linens, etc. You can come ready to enjoy your week without the hassle of bringing everything. She was communicative with check-in and made sure we knew she was available if we needed anything at all. The house is in pristine condition and only minutes away from the park. It is also fully air conditioned unlike many we noted in the area. We also enjoyed walking across the street to the Rusty Bison after a long day of baseball. I would highly recommend this home to anyone that is looking for a luxury property in Cooperstown!

Everything about this house was above and beyond. We stayed with multiple families and everyone felt that they had their own space. The homeowners did a wonderful job thoughtfully planning this home to accommodate a large group. I spoke with Sheri several times and met her the day of check in. The home is so well taken care of! The photos listed are exact, you will get exactly what you are paying for, the house is gorgeous. If I go back again to the area I would absolutely stay in this house. Perfectly placed between Cooperstown Dreams Park and Main St area. Everywhere we needed to go was just a 2-10 minutes drive away. You will not regret your stay here. It will make a lasting impression!
