Home away from home! The house and grounds are so well appointed. We had a wonderful family vacation and keep returning time and time again. Thank you so very much!

The property is amazing. It had so much to see and do right on site, and the views were awesome. Elderly folks could sit inside or outside to enjoy views while the younger folks paddled, played on the beach, searched for shells, and played games. The middle generation could relax in the hot tub and sip wine by a blazing fire. Only shortcoming was some lightbulbs didnt work, but that doesn't affect the full experience.

Lovely cozy lake house for our big family ! Kitchen supplied with everything for cooking meals ! We loved being right on the water with the beach for the campfire. Fishing was great. We were outside almost the whole week ! Quiet neighborhood. We loved Valentine house for our first trip to Lake Anna .

This rental was everything my group was looking for. We would highly recommend this location.

Such a beautiful home. Check in was easy. The amenities were outstanding. Two kayaks and a paddle boat. Games galore. A fire pit. Any time I had a question all I did was message the owner and she got back to me within minutes. The kitchen had everything that was needed. Things like tape and scissors and string and a sharps. Things that are easily forgotten when packing. Many food storage items. My family had a wonderful time. The view was gorgeous. Plenty of room. From the moment I booked until the moment I checked out Nanette was always there to respond to my questions. A nice screened in porch by the dock. I would recommend this home completely. Thank you for all you did to make our stay wonderful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property is absolutely beautiful...the lake water was so nice and warm and the home owners were very responsive to our questions and easy to work with.

This is our fourth year staying on this property. We LOVE it so much. The house is gorgeous. The property is beautiful. The location on the lake is perfect for jetskiing and tubing. The house is well stocked. The fact that the linens are included is such a plus!The interactions with the host is always wonderful. We already have our stay booked for next summer!

Very welcoming property! Enjoyed our stay. Everything was as pictured. Host was very responsive. Many kitchen supplies. AC and being on the lake was great with the heat that week.

The property is well kept, clean, and family friendly. Our kids loved everything about the property from hunting for Bigfoot in the woods, making sandcastles, to perfecting their putting skills. The water around the enclosed dock was deep enough to jump in without touching the bottom as well which is a bonus for the adults that don’t like that feeling!

This was our 5th summer at the Valentine House and the best one yet! Nanette is a wonderful host. Looking forward to our next stay!

Can’t say the word fantastic enough! From the house, to the property, to the host. It was everything we hoped for plus some. Nanette was the best host I have ever worked with and we have stayed at our fair share of vacation rentals over the years. Incredibly responsive to every question I had leading up to the trip and during. We have been coming to Lake Anna for years now, and rent a different house every time (some summers we have taken 2 trips) hoping to find “the one”. Well we have found it. The house is well cared for and has everything you need, even speciality kitchen items that I packed because no vacation house ever has them! They have thought of everything. And the property.. wow! Just gorgeous. People were stopping in the cove just to compliment the property. There is sunny, there is shady and space for everyone to spread out. The location of the property is also great. It’s on the quieter end of the lake. If you are thinking about renting this property.. just do it! But please don’t book the week we want to come. We are already looking forward to next year!!

We love Valentine House! This was our second stay. The location and views of the lake are magnificent. The house is beautifully appointed and, kitchen well provided and amenities fabulous. Rooms are super comfortable and spacious. Cable TV would be nice but that’s the only drawback.

This is our first VRBO experience and can’t say enough great things. The property was absolutely stunning. We spent most of our stay in the screened in porch/swimming off the dock. The littles very much enjoyed playing in the sand and splashing around at the beach. The house was comfortable and fully stocked with ALL the kitchen supplies you could think of. We are sad to see that this property is not available next summer because it was hands down, the best house we have ever stayed in!

This is our 3rd time staying at this wonderful property. The location is amazing. We bring our jetskis and it is a perfect place for tubing. The house is absolutely perfect. All amenities are more than we could ask for. The property is gorgeous. The waterfall, beach and hot tub are all fantastic!

The house, property and lake were beautiful and the owner was very responsive and forthcoming with information. We had three families, all with children, staying for a week (6 adults and 5 kids). We spent the majority of the time in the water and on a boat (rented locally). The beach area was great for the little ones, and the dock was deep enough for the big kids and adults to jump off of. The cove we were on was quiet and the end of the lake we were on was much quieter for tubing, unlike the other side of the lake. We didn't get a chance to use the hot tub, but it was clean and in good condition. We typically have four families on our vacation, but if the time comes where we only have three again we would absolutely return. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

We just finished another week at the Valentine House and had a great time! Nanette is a great host and the property is one of the best spots on the lake.

The best location on the lake! House is so comfortable and fully stocked. We will be back next year for sure!
