We highly recommend this property and thank the host for her prompt and kind responses. This home is lovely, well appointed, and completely equipped with cooking implements, games, exercise equipment, laundry facilities (very effective appliances), a lovely outdoor space, and beauty in every room. Big windows throughout, proximity to trails, close Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and Sprouts, nearby Pearl Street dining and shopping, a v close by grocery store, large bathrooms with great showers and water pressure, comfortable beds, and amazingly large closets. This home includes a separate living space, including audiovisual equipment, and kitchen. If you have the option, make this your choice.
We stayed for 6 weeks in may/June and loved Alicia’s place. The master is wonderful with views of bear peak and hot tub access. The kids had their own rooms, both great. We (and our dog) enjoyed mornings and evenings in the backyard and on the deck. And the access to South Boulder trails is hard to beat (including bear and south boulder peaks, green mountain and the flatirons). The house had everything we needed and Alicia was responsive and communicative. We’re excited to stay again!
We had a lovely stay at Alicia’s house. Location is great and nearby hiking trails are a bonus. The kitchen is well-equipped. Beds are comfortable.
We rented this house while our home was undergoing renovations and it was the perfect place for our family of four. The beautiful location on a quiet cul-de-sac within walking distance of Bear Canyon and local parks could not have been better. Alicia was a gracious and responsive host. We would happily stay again!
If I wasn’t a business/mindset coach, my family would have had a terrible experience. The next-door neighbor came out and harassed my oldest daughter while she was unpacking, telling her that we were not welcome in the neighborhood and that we should go back to Texas because they don’t want us there. That one event could have changed everything , had I not sat down with all of my children and talked to them about not allowing toxic people to influence our peace of mind, joy, and happiness. If I had not been fully equipped or prepared, it could’ve absolutely ruined our week. And if my kids were not receptive to my direction to let it go, we would have left that day because of the emotional instability of the neighbor. The owner was kind, yet had no control over how the neighbor behaved or her inappropriate behavior towards my daughter and our family.
Great neighborhood location— lovely backyard, nice walking streets, one block from flatirons hiking trails, two blocks from park, and near grocery store. Loved watching the birds come to the 3-4 bird feeders and watching the stars over the flatirons from the master bedroom windows. Spacious house with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, so family could spread out. Great stove/griddle. House stayed cool enough with windows opened that we (Texans) didn’t turn on the a/c! Alicia (sp?) is lovely as is her home. Note that it is her home, not an investment rental property, so expect it to have her personal items around and full closets— which was fine for us, but might bother others.
This house was perfect for our group and the owner was friendly and helpful.
This is a very nice place to stay - incredibly spacious and great amenities. However, the neighbors are extremely, extremely sensitive which makes it hard to relax/enjoy the stay.
It is a family home and it worked out well for our Thanksgiving gathering. The owner answered all of our questions and we enjoyed our stay.
This house accommodated our family of seven nicely. The views of the mountains are spectacular. We loved that there is a trailhead close by. It is a convenient location, with a supermarket nearby and downtown being only a short Uber ride away.
