4BR Mountain Getaway w/Hot Tub Firepit & Game Room

Home was in a great location. Alot of things too do very close to the house. Hot tub is a great addition to the house.

Nope. I received a glib cancellation message due to ‘extensive plumbing issues’…only in messaging section of the VRBO app (no text, no phone call so could ABSOLUTELY be missed in the frenzy of a family vacation) when my family was already 3 hours into the 10 hour drive to Colo for Spring Break…really unprofessional. We pivoted and found a solution to save our trip **while en route** but the experience speaks to a lack of professionalism and accountability.

This house was perfect for our girls weekend getaway! Close to cute mountain towns, restaurants, and outdoor fun. Hoste was very communicative throughout the process. Would definitely recommend.

Yes, the communication with the host was great. The place was clean, and very welcoming.

Let me tell you my visit. The home is great, everything available

Our stay at this property was very disappointing. The house was freezing and the heater did not work. We messaged the company and called no response. We finally got ahold of someone after 7 and they said they would look into it. The temp was dropping outside so we searched for electric heaters. They worked but the breakers kept blowing. We kept messaging the company. Nothing. The hot tub had a broken side and had fungus and scum with cloudy water and dirt in the bottom. That was the least of our worries because at this point we just wanted the heater to work. We also had two small kids with us. The company was quick to ask for more money for an earlier check in/longer stay and a late check out. Once we asked about the heat nothing. I was contacted once I was home to speak on the phone I scheduled for a 3pm phone call and they never called. Terrible. I wouldn’t recommend to any of my family, friends or clients. We won’t be back.

This is a GREAT property!! We opened the front door to a huge lovely appointed Living room with a fireplace and beautiful windows all around to take in the gorgeous Trees. We were sold before we even saw the rest of the home! The kitchen is well appointed with full size refrigerator, gas range and all the cooking gadgets we needed. Four private Bedrooms are spacious with luxurious white linens on very comfortable beds. Theres a full sz washer & Dryer in the Game room. Doing laundry has never been that much fun! Outside we found a great Firepit area with lots of chairs and a Hot tub that was hot & ready for us. The party lights set the mood for some quiet conversation and much needed relaxation. The owner was quick to respond to any question I had. This is a 110% property! Thank you so much for a wonderful experienceDeborah Haser-Okc

The stay with our young adult children was amazing! The amenities were excellent, and we particularly enjoyed all games- with nightly tournaments a highlight. Check in was easy, and the host was very easy to communicate with. The location was beautiful and easy to get to many of the sights in the area.

This getaway was the perfect place for our family. It’s centrally located to so many things to do. Pikes peak, cave of the winds, seven falls, and tons more!! The house had all we needed. We would book this getaway again!!

The property is well thought out. Our family was active on this vacation with hiking, rafting, mountain biking, sightseeing, plus more. Everything we needed was in the property to make meals, relax, and recover (think hot tub). All the amenities were high quality, well placed, clean, and well thought out - elegant yet understated. The flow of the spaces was really nice. Loved the hot tub and the front deck. Had several meals and coffee on the front deck. We also did some mountain biking, and the garage was perfect for all six bikes. There was plenty of common space, and everyone had a bedroom. It was close to so many activities. Highly recommended!

This place was ok. Clean but smaller. Beds were very comfortable. Location was great- not far from a number of attractions. Steps to the basement are dangerous, so we didn’t go down there much.

When we first arrived at the charming cabin at the foothills of the mountain, we were pleased with the overall aesthetic and feel of the cabin, especially for the price point. Yes, there were issues: the hot tub was dirty (cloudy water, debris, etc.), the gas stovetop was not adequately ventilated, and the small kitchen quickly filled with gas when cooking, there was a funky odor throughout the house (we will get to that later) especially in upstairs some of the games were missing pieces, and the Nintendo Switch had a broken controller...ALL NO BIG DEAL BREAKERS.It was not until we had settled in that the issues began to occur. On night one, the smoke/carbon monoxide alarm sounded a single time; no smoke, no fire, and we didn't report it thinking it may have been a fluke. On night three, the same smoke/carbon monoxide alarm went off twice that night; more alarmed this time, as the temperature in the mountains had cooled and the furnace had kicked on earlier, I called Hoste, the property management company, to report the issue. Somehow, they misunderstood my father explaining the alarm going off with the furnace duct work making noise, and tried to dismiss our concerns as nonissues.Concerned for the well-being of my family, I had children staying in the basement and my elderly parents staying upstairs. I insisted that Hoste, the third-party management company, send a technician out to check on the property.

Every thing was just as discussed. Perfect getaway. Would stay again.

This was the perfect place to stay for our elopement with a few friends! The back yard was the best place to hang out!

We had a great weekend at this property! The basement space was perfect for the kids and was full of family fun. The hot tub was an added bonus!

We had a wonderful stay. The house had everything we needed, was very clean, and exactly what you see in the pictures. I have a few things I always check on when I arrive- coffee filters, ice maker, laundry detergent and toilet paper - to make sure I don't need to make a run to the store, and this house was fully stocked and more! No need to run to the store for our 4 night stay. The beds and couches were very comfortable and we had a blast hanging out in the downstairs game room every night. The hot tub was a huge hit as well. It was a perfect way to relax every night. The location is great - a quiet neighborhood that is centrally located and an easy drive to all of the nearby attractions, as well as a really great restaurant 5 minutes away that we went to twice. We didn't have any issues, a very good thing, so we never had a need to reach out to the host during our stay. If we come back to Colorado Springs, we'd love to stay at this house again.

This spot was perfect for our family's celebration. The location was ideal, as it was convenient to all the attractions we wanted to explore. This made it easy for us to enjoy various activities without the hassle of long commutes. The house itself was cute, clean and accommodating. One of the highlights was the game room, and we loved the hot tub, which was a wonderful way to relax after a day outside. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

This was a great place to stay. Everyone loved it from age 3 to 71 years old. Games were a great addition!

Our family traveled to the area for our son’s parents weekend. Overall our stay was very nice with a few inconveniences. The top step on the front porch is loose so you must be very careful going up or down and avoid stepping on that area. Our adult daughter fell down the stairs inside the home by missing the first step on the top- it is more narrow than the other stairs. Also, the hot tub wasn’t clean. The house is nicely decorated and overall clean and well equipped.

We had a wonderful weekend away in Chipita Park with our 5 adult kids. This property is very inviting and was clean and smelled great upon arrival. It’s beautifully decorated. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The beds were very comfortable. We used all the property amenities…the hot tub, fire pit, ping pong table, etc!! Lots of fun! We enjoyed a lot of time on the large deck visiting and enjoying being out in nature. Communication with the host was great and check in and check out instructions were made simple. We would definitely visit again!

The basement game area was great. We all watched the Olympics on the TV and played games for hours. The rest of the place was very nice also. The front porch was nice to sit on in the morning and evening.

Such a great property to stay at! Everything you could want in a vacation home & the plus of all the extra amenities was awesome! Would go back!
