Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over-all a great stay. Unfortunately the pool was not heated, as requested at a cost of $300, but enjoyed Island Blue. Tram service (although advertised as running) was not available. Messages left on their number were never returned. We stay at Destin Pointe frequently and this was the first year we were unable to find the tram.

The home overall was very nice, but could use some attention in areas. The stovetop is missing the markings to show the temperatures.(I marked it with a marker) The oven won't heat past 250 degrees. The home could use some updated pots and pans as well. The ones there are in very worn out shape. I am a custom home builder so I'm very familiar with the type of exterior doors. For safety reasons some of the doors are very hard to or won't latch and need to be adjusted so they lock easier. The lighting in the upper master is very dimly lit and one of the bulbs is out. suggest changing the bulbs to LED with a higher lumins. The outdoor grills propane bottle was empty so we attempted to use it unsuccessfully. The provided pull cart that's used to haul items to the beach has two broken rear wheels and needs to be thrown away and replaced. Please understand that this is not intended to be a complaint. We were very satisfied with the stay. The place could use a little attention and maintenance for a convenient stay.

It’s was a great place but the upstairs bunk room door didn’t stay shut and I contacted the owner with no response! And we did see a few roaches in the kitchen and living room!

Nice rooms and bathrooms and the small pool in the backyard is a big hit for the kids on days when it’s not nice enough out to go to beach or the community pools.
