Stayed Aug 30, 2025The location is unmatched, gorgeous sunsets every night and a beautiful private beach ideal for families and small children. The house was large and comfortable, kitchen fully stocked and huge perk that it came with all linens and a laundry room. We hope to return next year!

Stayed Jun 5, 2021Family of 4 (all adults) stayed for a week in early June. The vibe is original 70s but in good condition overall. The view can’t be beat and the house is very spacious (perhaps too big for us!). Proximity to Ptown was excellent. We brought bikes which we stored on the landing at the front door. We cooked most nights and the two electric cooktops and the new double wall ovens worked very well. The outdoor gas grill doesn’t get very hot, though. Cons: the view was marred by dirty/dusty windows and screens. We cleaned all the beach facing windows and doors on the first floor inside and outside and wiped down the dusty screens. Sparkling windows transformed the view of stunning sunsets and ocean! Very pleasant wind/breeze in the first few days! That which can be improved: update couches and arm chairs from 70s microfiber, and need new mattresses. Pillows were flat (old) fiberfill. Recommend cleaning windows regularly and also the mesh filters in the kitchen downdraft fan vents were covered in heavy grease and stuck food (we ran the filters through the dishwasher and wiped down the wells). Repair the rip in the screen in the dining room to keep out mosquitoes. We had a wonderful time in this house once we acclimated. The location on the beach was perfect, the view was lovely and we could hear the soothing sounds of the ocean. The management company responded within a few hours of our call (water heater stopped and needed to be reset). We would recommend this house to others and we would love to return another year.

Stayed Oct 3, 2020Overall this is a very nicely located house on a bluff overlooking a sandy beach on the bay side with beautiful sunsets. Private stairs lead directly to beach. Kitchen/family room and MBR face the water with nice views. Decent deck for outside use on both floors. House was very clean, spacious and overall well equipped. Have rented many houses over the last 30 years, and we do a lot of cooking. As kitchens go this was pretty well appointed with decent utensils, glasses, plates, etc. There were no leftover spices, salt, pepper, etc. - but that may be due to covid. Pots and pans were adequate. Two coffee makers, including a Keurig. Two cooktops and a double oven (upper oven was broken). All electric. Fridge a little cramped. Beds were comfortable, internet worked well. House is a little dated, and things like the oven are due for replacement, but overall very nice and would stay again if wanted to be in that part of the Cape.

Stayed Aug 25, 2018We were three couples and a single. Since I made the reservation I got the generously sized master bedroom with a deck overlooking the bay. It was heavenly to wake up to the sound of the surf and view of the water. The other bedrooms had a queen sized bed in the first floor bedroom, which was used by a couple with some disabilities. The other two bedrooms had double beds. One thing I'd change if possible would be to put a larger bed in the other waterfront bedroom (maybe move the queen-sized upstairs since the downstairs room also had a fold out couch and there actually was no room to fold it out. (not needed by us, but might be nice). One more criticism is that the sitting room next to the entrance is DOWN ONE STEP. This is not obvious, especially if you are carrying stuff in an out, and I think 5 out of 7 of us tripped here at one time or another. I thought my sister-in-law was going to crack her skull on the edge of the fireplace. From that room you step up into a dining room. If it were me I'd get rid of that whole sunken idea for that room, or at least change the floor color, or add something that marks the step. Otherwise we all LOVED the house, we were very comfortable, and enjoyed all the spots where you could just sit and read or contemplate the water. EXACTLY what I wanted!!! Would love to go back. Very easy to cook and feed the group in a casual way.
