#424 DOWNTOWN FLORENCE HOME CLOSE TO EVERYTHING!

A nice cottage. Porch is cute but floor boards seem weak and bouncy. Beds comfortable, King is very high if short and disabled. Could use more dishware, glasses and mugs if more than 4 people staying. Property owner's staff responded quickly when we couldn't find hairdryer.

Needs updating and smoke detectors

This property should not be listed. Photos misleading and property is In run down neighborhood. Back window view is of some kind of machine shop. Host did not answer questions I had asked. We did not even stay 1 day. We locked it up, left, and informed owner.

No toaster, bedroom TV not connected to internet. We loved the area and the house is beautiful for an older home. Love the Florence area. Be sure and bring a cookie sheet also if you need one. Door was very hard to open, but for older homes I am guessing that’s normal. Contact person was quick and nice to answer questions.

We came into town for my daughters wedding. The homes location made it easy for all the last minute food runs for the bridal party that stayed a few homes down. We were able to meet friends and family downtown and walk back. Will stay here our next trip to visit my daughter

This is a wonderful location. Easy access to downtown and great neighborhood to walk around. This was our 3rd time to stay here and we will be back!

Very nice place to relax after a golfing. Nice to be able to walk a few blocks to downtown eateries. Highly recommend staying here. We will be back next year.

Came for a short visit to see my daughter who attends UNA. The house was charming and quaint.

Home is in major need of repairs such as the showers, the floors in the kitchen hallway and rear bathroom are all slanted enough to make you feel off-balance. The heating and air unit does not work but we did not find this out until late on the night before we left. Late on the first night when we arrived, there was pubic hair all in the shower and all over the curtain in the tub was backfilling because of a clog of hair. We were able to get the shower working without calling the host, but it was a little disgusting. The master bedroom bed is being held together by small pieces of a 2 x 4 because the frame is broken. The home is a really cool looking home from the outside and does have quite bit of age. The floors were very dirty and all of our socks were dark brown on the bottom because it has not been cleaned properly in a long time. We did message the host about all of these issues when we were departing because it was pointless to message the host with these issues because we were only staying Friday night and Saturday night. We literally only spent a few hours in the place due to the volleyball tournament which we spent most of our time. The host did not reply back with any comments in regards to any of the issues in a message to them after our stay. Id check to see if the repairs have been done to the home before booking. I was honestly embarrassed, bringing my family to this home in the condition it was in. I think we should at least get our cleaning fee refunded.

The home was really nice and clean upon arrival. Everything was as pictured online.

A nice house that accommodated the family in a great area. The historic district in Florence is very charming. Easy walk to shops and eating.

Walking distance to downtown. Good sized house. Great set up for or small reunion.
