4/10 mile walk to private beach outdoor shower a/c

Our family of 5 has just returned from a lovely vacation at this well-kept property. The home was clean and spacious with plenty of rooms and beds. Window AC units were perfect for keeping the bedrooms cool for sleeping. We did not miss central AC in the main living areas as the ocean breezes (and a few fans) kept the house comfortable. The beach access is a very walkable distance (8 minutes) away, but the steep stairs leading down to the water could be challenging for some. We enjoyed exploring Rock Harbor in Orleans and biking the Nauset Bike Trail out to Coast Guard Beach. Do not miss Young's Fish Market for cold lobster rolls or Arnold's for chowder and fried clams! We had a wonderful trip. Thank you to our hosts!

Keys were mailed to us ahead of time. Owners let us know we could check in early on our arrival date which was very helpful.Kitchen facilities were ok. We had been warned about no dishwasher. However hot weather made for a very hot kitchen even with a fan. Also no stove exhaust fan. Only AC units were in the bedrooms.Location was great for walking to and enjoying the bay side beach. Large backyard was great for kids to play.Some safety concerns:Main front door and breezeway front door very sticky. 8-year old children could not open from the inside. Might be a problem in an emergency.Tub floor has no non stick surface. There are grab bars.No doors for the upstairs bedrooms.

We loved the house, the area and the private beach! There was plenty of room to spread out and Eastham is centrally located to many great spots along the cape! It was a wonderful time!

This house worked very well for our family vacation. It has lots of room for my adult children to have their own space on the second floor. Ceilings were low in upstairs bedrooms, as described, but my 6'3 boys were just fine. There is AC in each bedroom for those steamy night and lots of fans available which we appreciated. We had access to garage for bikes and outdoor shower. Lots of parking available for our rotating family members and room for my son's boat. Kitchen and bath could use some updating but all were perfectly functional and well supplied. Close to bay beach, bike path Orleans for shopping and outer cape adventures.

Wonderful place to stay. Great house, very comfortable! Only 10 minutes from the Cape Cod National Seashore where the beaches are wonderful!

House was very roomy and worked quite well for our family of 8. Having the garage was a real bonus. Enjoyed the nice big dining room table which allowed us to all eat together. Easy access to the beach and the rail trail.

Perfect: location, size, cleanliness, comfort. Looking forward to booking again next year.

Great quiet location. Lots of comfy beds. Close to private and beautiful beach.
