Stayed Jul 19, 2025This was the nicest rental home we have ever stayed in. The owners were so thoughtful and went the extra mile to ensure the home was well kept and exceptionally clean. The floor plan accommodated our crew of 12 and there was plenty of room for everyone from the main great room, to the game room on lower level and large deck overlooking the beautiful woods. We enjoyed all the amenities at the club and found the location extremely convenient to Blowing Rock, restaurants and other area attractions. We can't say enough about how kind, thoughtful and accommodating the owners of this property were. They thought of everything, which ensured our family had the most enjoyable week!!

Stayed Feb 21, 2025We had, great time at the property. Paul and Laura took great care and ensure we have a very comfortable stay. The house was well equipped and every corner of the house was used aptly. We do recommend to stay this house and we will also like to stay again, thanks once again Paul and Laura.

Stayed Aug 2, 2024This was one of the best stocked vacation houses we’ve ever stayed in. There is a large closet upstairs for infant and toddler items: gates, booster seats, porta crib, books, etc. Before bringing all the “baby stuff” contact Paul, the host. He was very punctual in getting back to me re: questions. The house has a really nice gas grill, fire pit on the same porch as grill, outside table and hot tub. I The kitchen has a toaster, toaster oven, kuerig and regular coffee maker, etc. We hiked a couple of days and Hebron Falls is fairly close. Blowing Rock is about a 15-20 min. drive. We had a great vacation in a great house!

Stayed Jun 6, 2024High Country Escape far exceeded our expectations. There was something there for everybody and when I said everybody, we had 5 adults and a 10 month old. They provided toys and a pack and play for the baby and pool/ping pong and a poker table for the adults. It was clean, comfortable and relaxing which is what we needing. Close to hikes at Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and West Jefferson (hike the scenic lookout). We have stayed in a half dozen cabins in North Georgia and North Carolina and this was the best. Laura and Paul are such great hosts with every detail explained. Loved it totally

Stayed May 9, 2024This stay was perfect! There is not one thing I would recommend changing. Laura and Paul were very responsive with all of my questions even prior to booking. Their home was a perfect location for our family to gather for our daughter's graduation from Appalachian. They had every single detail covered! I wish we had found this spot sooner! Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a rental in this area!

Stayed Mar 28, 2024Spacious property for 13 people over Easter. The location for extended weekend enjoying Boone, Blowing Rock, and Blue Ridge Parkway was perfect. Property had everything we needed and much more. The community amenities were very nice and people were very friendly to guests. The hosts communication prior to arrival was top notch. Would recommend to all.
