40 Steps From The Beach!! Huge Roof top views!!!

The place is literally 40 steps from the beach. It’s not in front of the boardwalk so you dont get that much foot traffic which is great but close enough to the beach to hear the waves at night. Rooftop is amazing for bbq nights. There are also great restaurants a block or few away which is very convenient. The house is big enough for 6/8 people. It could be cleaner, like the floor is dusty but then it’s so close to the beach that some sands can get in. The owner is very nice & responsive. He will text or message right away if we have questions. Overall, this place is nice & i will book it again. I will definitely recommend this place to my family/friends.

Close to the beach, restaurants, and places to rent boogie boards. The rooftop was great for breakfast and the garage was convenient.

This is a fantastic property, and the garage was a game changer, especially during the holiday weekend. The location is central, and everything is within easy reach.

Beach was totally obstructed parking was not safe. No broom to sweep up sand. No wash cloths or bathmat ( very slippery tub). Mattress in large room totally broke down as well as the couch. Only 4 rolls of toilet paper for 2 older women.

I have contacted the VRBO people about this property. It was dirty, the bed was broken, the bbq is extremely rusted, the host quit talking to me the last days. I asked the host to have the place cleaned. He did. I asked the host to have the bedding changed, and not with the bedding in the garage. He said that it's impossible to remove all the stains and hair from the bedding. I asked the host to fix the bed. He said it was fixed. I ended up having to put a paint can and books under the bed to hold it up. The WiFi went out the last 2 days. The host said that there was a power outage that never fixed it self in 2 days time. The dishwasher has an extreme amount of mold. The host said he could have it replaced but doesn't know when, then never spoke about it again. Dishes were dirty at arrival. The light fixture was hanging from ceiling, Electrical outlets were left uncovered, Parking is extremely tight. If you have anything bigger than a crv and cannot back in. There is basically no parking for you. It is close to the beach, and sea world. That's the only good thing.

What a great spot, secure garage parking for our rental car, we were able to walk to some great food spots and amazing coffee from Better Buzz. Not to mention around the corner from the beach and jogging/walking area..This home is centrally located to all things san diego and a short under hour distance to the Safari Park and Legoland. The rooftop deck was great to enjoy the fresh air and relax. We would definitely book again! Thanks for the memories

We had a great week and felt the accommodations worked great for our family of 4. The place is clean and well cared for. We used the bikes provided and rented kids bikes down the road. Our kids used the sand toys and boogie boards all week. The area feels safe and easily accessible! We enjoyed dinners on the rooftop as well as walkable restaurants. We did notify the owner that the front mattress could use an upgrade which he said he would address promptly. Overall we were very happy with our stay! -one tip worth noting-there is a hose in the garage that hooks up to the outdoor faucet, this would have been good to know at the beginning of the week as we were managing a lot of sand with the kids!

This property was not as advertised. If you are going to claim it sleeps 6 people then there should be bedding for the pull-out couch, and at least utensils for 6! The couch is very uncomfortable and the pull out mattress felt like it was from the 70's! You could feel the coils and the bars. The dishwasher was unusable so there should have been some dish racks as we had to handwash everything. There was a cockroach in the downstairs bathroom. Light switches and outlets did not all work. There was no seating other than the couch for eating. Stains on the comforter/bedding. The coffee pot and kettle were not cleaned and we could not get them clean so we could not use them, the kitchen in general was not well apportioned. BUT rhe location was great and the bikes and boogey boards were appreciated. With just a little more attention to detail this could be a really great place!

We had a great vacation! Amazing location with so much to do without driving. Loved the rooftop deck after a long day at the beach. Fausto was great and provided everything we needed. We hope to come back soon!

We had a wonderful stay here! The location couldn’t be better — so close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Having beach equipment and kids’ toys available in the garage was such a thoughtful touch and made our trip so much easier. Parking access was also a big plus.A few small things could make the stay even better — having a larger amount of extra linens and towels on hand, as well as a vacuum would be really helpful since sand tends to come in easily being so close to the beach.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay again! :)

We had a great stay at this property and would definitely return! The location is unbeatable—just steps from the sand with both the front door and garage facing Strandway. It’s also within easy walking distance to coffee, pastries, restaurants, bars, and groceries, and you can stroll north to Konos or south to Belmont. The house itself is cute, clean, and the perfect size for around 4 people. We loved the Roku TVs, comfortable couch, and the ice-cold AC with units upstairs and downstairs. The upstairs patio was a favorite spot with sunset views and a peek of the ocean. The garage fit our small SUV and included a washer/dryer, beach chairs, and toys. The owner, Fausto, was excellent—very responsive and kind. When we arrived, the door codes didn’t work, but he answered right away and resolved it immediately. A couple of notes: there was no propane for the BBQ, and most items in the garage were pretty rusty. That said, this property checked all of my must-haves—location, AC, designated parking, and a private rooftop deck. Overall, clean, comfortable, and an amazing spot by the beach. We would happily stay here again!

Great location but needs a deep cleaning, sofa sleeper needs to be replaced very uncomfortable, mattress pads replaced, dishwasher needs attention only used it for a drying rack, main thing rental badly needs cleaning!! Hosted offered to send someone later that day we checked in to clean. It didn’t work because we had everything and everything in already.

Loved the location of this property! Close to so many great restaurants and very close to the ocean! The rooftop patio was great! We did not use the washing machine or cook in the kitchen so I can’t comment on the use of those items.

Everything you need within steps from the beach. Fast response times from the property manager/owner. A TV went out during our stay and was replaced same day. Our family would stay here again.

This place is just steps to the beach!! Great location and cute little place with a fun roof too with a grill and table all set up!! Would definitely stay here again.

Location was easy access to the beach and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay. Could not figure out how to use the coffeemaker and the wifi was not strong.

We found that the location was great, but the property needs some repairs. There were light bulbs burnt out, many of the outlets in the kitchen area didn't work, batteries in some of the remotes for the lighting needed to be replaced and you probably shouldn't use the washer.

Family visit to San Diego. This house was a great location to enjoy the beach and also a short drive to downtown. Love the rooftop patio in the morning.

Everything worked out so well here! Steps from the beach. Clean and modern place. Fausto was very attentive to our needs. Couldn't have worked out better!

The location was greagt. The garage door opener did not work when we arrived and did not get fixed until the next day. There was no table or chairs in kitchen. We founda a card table and chairs in the garage and we had to use. The coffee pot did not work but owner did offer to bring over another one. Beds were comfortable but hthere were no dressers in front bedroom.
