4 Bedroom Upscale Duplex with a Pool

We had a great stay at this beach house! The listing accurately described the property. The house was clean and well maintained, with plenty of space. Just a heads up-there are a lot of stairs, which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for others. We did see a few bugs and we couldn’t get the dishwasher to work, but that didn’t impact our overall experience and we would stay here again. It’s definitely a solid spot for a relaxing beach getaway!

Perfect size and space for a family of 7! The kitchen and living spaces were A good fit and the balconies very inviting. The stairs however I wouldn't recommend to the elderly nor to the disabled. The living room couch could use a deep cleaning and I think the water msy need to be checked.

We loved stay at Carolina Beach! The house was great, loved the location and the pool! The house was clean and well stocked. We will probably choose a place with less stairs next time for aging folks in our family.

The house is nice! Nice rooms, bathroom, balconies, pool, not a long walk to beach less than 1/4 mile. The stairs are CRAZY!!!! SO MANY STAIRS!!!!! There is no level that has everything you need, bed, bathroom, livingroom and kitchen area. First thing you do is open doors walk up 15 steep stairs, there are rooms bathroom and laundry room, then up 15 steep stairs to kitchen and living area, then up 15 more steep steps to the other rooms and bathroom. Killer leg work out! If you have bad knees or back not the house for you! Babies bring baby gates. Old/fat/lazy/out of shape......may wanna rethink I have bad knees 48 years old I'm out of shape and boy oh boy do I feel all those steps! Good trip I'm glad I went only thing I'd change is the steps lol.

There is 3 sets of very steep stairs in this rental. Not good for mobility issues. Pool was to dirty to swim. Reported but never cleaned. One of the big reasons I rented. Very disappointing. Told us brown spots all over pool were rust spots. They were not as they could be wiped and the pool was a fiberglass insert. Also pool had algae all over. Dryer did not work wasn't fixed until 6th day of our 7 day vacation. Ants in unit was addressed the same day reported. Carpet was filthy on the first level. Did get a call asking if I wanted them to vaccum. I declined as vacuuming wouldn't help it needed cleaning. I have rented many houses on vbro for years this is the only property we had issues with. We still enjoyed our vacation but you do expect to get what you pay for. An issue that was fixed is not a big deal but multiple issues makes you feel like you didn't get what you paid for.

The stairs were an issue for the older members. We had been told several times that there were two bedrooms on street level. The Bryant members assured me each time this was true . This was absolutely not true! I felt this was dishonest.

Dryer was broken almost the entire week, ants and roaches everywhere, roof leaked and lost power in one bedroom due to water everywhere and part of our family had to vacate, 2 adults with 2 small children were staying in that particular room. Bryant showed no real concern and the communication from them was nonexistent, we had to keep calling. Will never rent from them again!

Booked Friday for the following week at a great price and no hassle. Great spaces for a large family. The pool was very refreshing and just big enough. The only downside is all those steps with 2 kids under 3, but I got my workout in. Will be back!
