4 Bedroom Bach in Native Bush

Nice place, very quiet location, and close to the lake

The sleep-out is a massive plus, it was great for everyone that the teenagers had their own hut. We loved the deck and outdoor area. Furniture are quite dated but the kitchen is super well equipped and we did not miss anything. Quite central and a short walk or ride to different parts of the lake. Nice walks through the reserve right on your doorstep.

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your accommodation. We made ourselves at home - which was easy, as everything is already there to use. Just one thing - the TV kept dropping out & we weren't sure how to fix it so the kids watched their tablets instead. Simple instructions to follow made our stay that much more comfortable.

Amazing place to stay surrounded by native trees and bush.

Very nice bach. Well located if you want to be on the west of the lake, very close to Kuratau and Omori boat ramps and beaches, 20 mins from Turangi. Lots of room and beds, perfect for a large group.

Amazing stay, everything was easy to follow and very straight forward! Beautiful spot in the trees just a shame about the weather!

Thistle Do is a comfortable, quiet, private bach surrounded by bushes at Kuratau. We stayed for an enjoyable week for our family holiday - a group of 11. There was plenty of room for us all and being lockwood it was quite soundproof. The highlight was definitely the amazing pressure in the showers. The Bach is a walk of about 10 mins away from the Lake. It is quite steeply downhill on the way there so is steeply uphill on the way back!

We were extremely happy with this property it was well equipped lots of room and the sleep out was brilliant giving a couple their own space to chill and lax out. Our pre teens loved their space and all slept in the one room with the bunk beds leaving a whole room unused! As soon as we arrived they had a dvd on (good selection) found the selection of board games and well just explored. We went to tokaanu thermal pools after dinner great way to finish our evening. Beds were so comfortable kitchen was well equipped I cooked us yea as soon as we got in pretty much. I highly highly recommend this bach. We will be back again if you’ll have us Thankyou very much
