4 acres in wine country with pond, windmill, vineyards, pool, putting green

Our family of seven adults spent the Christmas holiday at this countryside property. Everyone agreed that the house was very comfortable, especially the beds. We got rainy weather so did not make use of the outside amenities but there are three separate areas to socialize. The kitchen is large and very well stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. The kitchen drawers are labeled, which was great. The property is pet friendly, which is great for families with pets but inevitably there will be the odd pet hair on the sofas (in case of allergies).The Sonoma Safeway delivers groceries to the house via food delivery services, and we were able to add the property gate code to the grocery order. Following house instructions carefully, we did not have any trouble at all going in/out of the gate. If you are walking out (vs driving) there is a gate remote in the kitchen. Our host was extremely accommodating to ensure a comfortable stay and very responsive when we had questions, despite being on vacation themselves. Full house instructions were provided before checking in, which was very helpful. Thank you Sanjay and Gayathri for a wonderful stay!

Great house in a great location. Big, spacious, comfortable, and the most well-stocked kitchen I've ever seen in a rental. Will absolutely return.

We had a nice stay, good location. The vineyard area, outdoor seating and hot tub were all enjoyable. It was too cold to use the pool. The hosts were very responsive.

This is a beautiful property with everything you could possibly need and is close to shopping, wineries and restaurants. We had 6 people in our party and there was more than enough space for everyone. Communication with our hosts was flawless and we would recommend this property to anyone!

Overall it was okay. The inside of the house was good and clean and since it was for my bachelorette weekend, it was decorated. Since there was no reservation prior to our stay, the host was able to allow our decorator come in early and set up which we appreciate! Check in was smooth. However the only gripe I really have was the backyard. I was really looking forward to having a pool day with my girls but the back yard was a mess. Unkept, dust and cobwebs everywhere, the pond was dried up. It looked like no one had been back there in weeks. I did specifically request the host a head of time to ensure the backyard was cleaned up and ready but the didn’t respond. We were also not aware of the pool heating fee, which we didn’t use, but it would’ve been nice to know that was an option beforehand so we could’ve at least told the host to turn it in 24 hrs before. They were responsive during our stay but leading up to our trip, I kept having to follow up multiple times. It was a nice house and plenty of hang out space, however the backyard was not up to par.

The interior was clean, big, well organized. The exterior landscaping was being raked when we arrived. The landscape needs a facelift, very old looking, brown, and not much thought given to the first impression. The lake is dry. Kitchen well labeled and stocked with dishes etc. The instructions for the thermostat were hard to follow. There should have been a note about where the extra towels were. Inaccessibility from inside the gate caused inconveniences, we couldn't get out without using a car. The condition of the propone tank and barbeque was dirty and rusty looking and we were afraid to use it. there were no ping pong balls in the garage or anywhere else. We did enjoy our stay and were comfortable. I left a brand new unopened 1000 piece puzzle on a coffee table for you or guests since we never got around to using it.

The home has plenty of space for a family of 10. The group enjoyed it and it served us well. The location is perfect. Theres plenty of utensils, cooking necessities, puzzles... it felt hommie. There are areas of the house that could use some TLC and cleaning. The pictures do it justice in some areas and not in others. The pond was empty and dry, to be expected in a dry spell but i wish i would've known.

The place was nice inside but smell like dog. The pool area was disgusting. The owner sent a pdf that was encrypted and we didn’t even know the rules of the place. It took us a while to figure out how to open the pool cover and Everything was so dirty, we found a dead frog inside the pool. And to make everything worse, The gate’s sensor did not work and hit my car and dented my car’s’ door. I’d like to have reparations for my car door.

Good location. Close to historic landmarks. 50min drive to San Francisco.

Wonderful home. Sanjay was pleasant, responsive and a good host. The home is large and comfortably slept eight. There is one bunkbed, which didn't matter to the college age kids :-) . In addition we hosted family on Thanksgiving dinner. The kitchen is large, recently updated and well appointed with everything we needed. It met our needs perfectly - we arranged with Sanjay in advance to have more people on the property for Thanksgiving. Outdoors: Except for walks, we didn't use the outdoors. It's large and it was nice for walks out to the end of the vineyards. There is Bocce ball in the back area, multiple places to hang out, including a new deck with jacuzzi off the master bedroom. This is a large property close to town, but still in farm country. Next door neighbor has chickens, goats, etc. Pond gets filled by winter rain...so it wasn't full. I expected that from reading reviews and it didn't matter to us given the time of year. Pool and pool area: We never planned to use the pool given the time of year. Sanjay mentioned he plans to remove the grass around the pool in the future to update it. Wonderful property, large nicely updated home, nice hosts and easy access to wine country.

The property was just what we had hoped for. Nice, spacious, and very comfortable. We would recommend this property for anyone visiting the Sonoma area.

Host - Very responsive and made check-in smooth. Property - Interior of the house was clean but outside needed a lot of TLC. Outdoor furniture were dusty, pool had a tadpole, hot tub had dirt, landscaping was non-existent. Outdoor areas were uncomfortable and almost unusable.

The interior of the house is great and as described but is located on a busy street with some traffic noise. Some of the check-in/check-out instructions were confusing. For example, we were asked to put towels in the washer which is in the garage but were then told that we should not have accessed the garage. There were problems operating the pool cover and the garage door (which again, we shouldn't have accessed, but didn't know that). The driveway is circular so gives the impression you should go in one side and out the other but instead, you go in and out on the same side. The backyard could use some TLC. All in all, we had a nice time but recommend some minor adjustments to improve the guest experience.

Our friends had a lovely stay in Sonoma. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and many areas in the house to hang out together. The pool was big and there were many seating options outside both in the sun and shade. We all enjoyed walking through the vineyard and around the pond. Would recommend this place!

This rental was the perfect location for our group that was in town for the weekend for a wedding. It had tons of space, clean, and was in the perfect location for visiting a number of wineries. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend!

We've been doing our escape the SF fog summer trips like this for many years. This stay was very enjoyable. The house and property was just what we needed (family of four and our kids' godparents). Plenty of room to spread out, but we mostly stayed by the pool. We did stargaze one night and that was awesome. Sanjay was a great host and prompt communicator. All questions were answered promptly and clearly. I must say, the kitchen was impressive! Everything we needed and well labeled. Probably the best kitchen we've had on our trips. We were only able to stay for 3 days due to scheduling, but next time we'll plan better and stay longer.
