3rd and Surf- 2 blocks from the lake, 1 block from the Legendary Surf Ballroom

Great rental. Close to downtown and lake and park. Only problem is the three steps up from entrace room to main livong area. Difficult if handicapped.

Brad and Molly communicated well, plenty of parking, located very close to all the sights we wanted, house was clean and comfortable! Excellent value!

We stayed for a quick weekend trip. 3rd and Surf was a cute little house, well-maintained, and most importantly, clean! We had all the tools we needed in the kitchen to cook a few meals and plenty of room to be comfortable. We would happily stay here again next time we're in town!

Beautiful home both inside and out. They thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. This includes games for the family, DVD’s and essentials you may have forgotten to bring. We spent our days at the lake and evenings out in the gazebo. We will definitely be booking again!

Location, location, location! This adorable little bungalow was walking distance to downtown, the Surf Ballroom, and the lake! Our grandsons were thrilled with all the toys, books and the big yard to play in. We visited the Clear Lake Farmer's Market in the Surf Ballroom's parking lot on Saturday morning and got lots of homegrown goodies to eat while we were here. Since we ate most of our meals in, our only issue was with how the kitchen was poorly stocked with pots, pans, plates, glassware and silverware. The dishes could have been better than plastic and the pots and pans have been abused and need to be replaced. The Ninja blender was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our stay at 3rd and Surf, which was comfortable, clean and family friendly. Thanks for helping us make lots of new family memories.

We came to Clear Lake for a concert at the Surf. The house is very close! The host let me know about the farmer’s market in the parking lot of the Surf on Saturday mornings, so that was very convenient! The games were nice, there was a chair in the living room that we were all obsessed with, and there were a ton of extra blankets and pillows all around the house for lounging! It was a great little house and had more than enough space for our two couples. The host didn’t reach out after check-in but we didn’t have any issues, so there wasn’t a need. I messaged them after we checked out, and they promptly replied.

Wonderful spot! This adorable home stole our hearts, and the location was spot-on. This is one of the most stocked vrbo's we've stayed at especially if you have kids. All the thoughtful extras made our stay even more special. Can't wait to return next year!

3rd & Surf was exactly what my family and I needed. We were in town for the Midstates Horse Show in Mason City and it was nice to have a place to come relax after a few days in the hot sun. There was plenty of room for my family to spread out and have their own space. Molly & Brad were very responsive to our messages. We will definitely be booking again when we come to next years horse show. Thanks again for sharing your home!!

We had a very nice stay at this vrbo. The owners were wonderful and attentive. The house was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had to change our dates after the reservation was made and they were great about that as well. The only suggestion I would have would be to have some small tables next to the furniture to set drinks, plates etc. the gazebo was very special. Enjoyed the mornings in there with my coffee. It’s a special house, and we would love to stay there again. Also, it’s in a very good location in town as well.

So many details that were thought of. Space was not overcrowded and well used. Felt fresh and clean! Great linens towels and bedding. We made full use of the property over Memorial Weekend. In for a family graduation party, it was close to the venue. And we hung out in the screened in porch a lot and even used the fire pit area.

This property was perfect for our girls weekend! The outdoor space was lovely to enjoy the great weather, being a block from the surf for the concert was ideal and the house was well stocked for all our needs. We highly recommend the hosts and the house.

Great location walking distance to the Surf and short drive anywhere else. Home was clean, had some coffee pods available and parking in a garage was a bonus especially when it was so cold. Would/will definitely stay here again.

Was a very nice property. Great neighborhood and kid friendly. Very close to the iconic Surf Ballroom and easily walkable distance from the shops and park uptown near city beach etc.

I grew up in CL and the previous owners of this house were members of our church and they let our family use their garden that was in their back yard. Many memories of weeding and harvesting veggies in the garden!

We are a group of teachers that came to Clear Lake for Harvest Fest. This house was perfect with all laid the amenities! It is beyond clean and spacious for the six of us to sleep comfortably. Highly recommend!

Very clean house, great experience

Our kids enjoyed playing with the toys at the house after a day at the beach, which was within walking distance. We brought our own beach towels and chairs but didn’t need to since the owners provide them. Our family had a s’mores night at the outdoor fire pit. This was our third stay at this property and we’ll be back again.

House was just as advertised and provided a great home base for our group as we explored this area of Iowa!

Loved our getaway to Clear Lake and really enjoyed staying at Third & Surf. This cute cottage is close to the city park, beach, Main Street, and the Surf. The neighborhood is quiet and walking is very enjoyable.

We spent 2 nights here on a girls weekend and found everything as described! Location is walkabe to downtown. We would definitely stay again!

Very clean, remodeled house close to all the downtown activities, and short walk to the lake, and Surf ballroom. We didn't have hot water on the last morning, but Brad came over and fixed it immediately, so we could shwer before leaving for the airport!. Thanks 😊
