This is a nice place. It was clean, quite and peaceful. The host was quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely stay again.

My family and I stayed at Elk River while our home was being repaired. We stayed there for over a month, which was actually during the holidays. I must say that this was the best home away from home that we could have ever imagined. The home was beautiful inside and out. It was very spacious and cozy. It was clean and provided such a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we walked in until the day we left. The host provided very detailed instructions for everything we needed during our stay and she even provided restaurant suggestions for the area. The neighorhood was quiet and the view of the river from the screened in patio every morning was absolutely breath taking. The kitchen and the bathrooms were fully stocked with everything that we needed. The host was very attentive and responded immediately whenever I had a question. I could not have asked for a better home or host. I would definitely recommend this home for an extended stay or just a weekend getaway!!!

The property was lovely. Very clean. Nice respite away from the cities around Huntsville. We enjoyed peaceful walks and the river view was beautiful. Communication with the host was easy and the checkout instructions were very simple and easy to walk out.

Perfection! Everything you could need for a week away. Neighborhood was great. Loved the backyard. Great kitchen. Beds were good. Had a wonderful time and will be staying again next time we visit our family again. Perk for us was its central location to all the family we were visiting. Would not change a thing. Much better than staying in a hotel.

My family and I enjoyed staying at this home. My daughter said she really wanted to take home the furniture in the living room. The guest bathroom shower is really nice. Overall we had a wonderful stay

Our favorite stay by far. The house was on a beautiful setting of the elk river. Every comfort of home We really enjoyed the screened in porch where we could sit and watch the river and the ducks and geese. It was a very peaceful and restful stay.

This property is absolutely beautiful! The home is perfection from everything I needed in a kitchen to being spotless. After long days of junior golf tournaments it was so nice to come home to a beautiful, quiet, peaceful property with stunning river views. We can’t wait to come back. We have traveled the country for tournaments and this home had everything. It is truly perfect. The host was so kind and helpful no matter my question! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

If you like hustle and bustle, loud traffic and obnoxious neighbors this is NOT the place for you. This place is super quiet (except for birds chirping) very clean and neat, spacious bedrooms and living/ family room. Perfect for a little get away or a place to collect your thought 10 of of 10

Visiting for best friends funeral with my sister and another good friend. The owners have been over the top accommodating! Very quick to respond with questions and recommendations. It is out of the way, a little drive, but absolutely worth it! The property has nice views of the river and all the wildlife! We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area!

Great experience. House was beautiful and everything we needed. We had children ages 5, 10 and 12. Plenty of space out back to burn energy off. Amenities inside the house were great. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to be outside of town, quiet relaxing area with family.

The host was accommodating and provided fast and friendly communication. The house was clean, comfortable, and was well stocked with bathroom and kitchen essentials. My family is hoping to rent again during the spring/summer months to utilize the kayaks and river front. Five stars all around!

It was great

The home was beautiful. It was the perfect size for our family. It was a little far from town and unfortunately the river was dried up so we were not able to fish. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was a great size to cook in. The living room was very large and could use some more seating maybe a love seat or a sectional.

We had a wonderful stay. The river was peaceful, and the pelicans flying in were beautiful to see. The home was clean and decorated nice. The beds comfy.
