The proximity to the the west entrance to Yellowstone was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin met our expectations. Such a beautiful area with LOTS to explore!

Property met our needs. Bathtub needs mat or decals as it is very slippery.

Enjoyed the cabin and location. However, need sheets that fit bed. Regular double bed sheets don’t fit a queen bed.

I had a very pleasant stay. Comfortable, quiet, open airy space. I enjoyed the wildlife art on the walls. The trees shade the cottage well. On a hot , high 80s full sun day the afternoon temperature in the cottage was cool and pleasant. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen worked perfectly for me, and the living area was great to relax after a long day of fishing. If it is available I will stay here again the next time I visit Island Park.

Upon arrival the cabin looked abandoned due to overgrown grass and weeds overtaking property. We were not prepared for the uncommon heat that the region was experiencing. The first night was miserable.as there was 1- 28” fan and a 1 small one for my family of 4 to share. The next day we purchased another larger fan. The listing said up to 6 could sleep here. Apparently, they truly mean sleep as there were 6 places one could sleep; however, with only 3 wash cloths I would not recommend. Thankfully we found wash cloths at a not too distant store the next day. One reason we like to rent cabins over hotel rooms is we love doing a family breakfast each morning. There was adequate utensils, plates, and skillets, but not a kitchen towel nor dish cloth. There was a shriveled sponge that we were forced to use that first morning. One day perhaps we will laugh about this overly rustic adventure but not today.
