3 King Beds, Amazing View, Game Room, Great for groups

Everyone from my teens their grandma loved this comfortable clean and spacious mountain get away.

The home was very clean and inviting. We especially enjoyed the outside porch and the fire pit. We had our coffee on the porch and wine on the porch and enjoyed the spectacular mountain views. We would definitely return to this lovely home. It was the perfect getaway location for a small girls trip…A simply lovely place to make memories with friends.

Everything about this house is well done! Comfortable beds, plush towels, well stocked, lots to do, relaxing, great views and very clean! Will definitely go back sometime!

What an incredible experience! From start to finish the hosts were amazingly responsive with all the possible information you could need. They really care about making the best experience possible. They’ve thought of everything to make your stay easy, comfortable, and luxurious. We felt so pampered! Beds are super comfy, water pressure and temp were great, easy to use and convenient technology, towels were fluffy and absorbent, kitchen had everything, big open spaces and places to tuck away from the crowd, helpful labels everywhere, and very clean. The community has SO MUCH to offer! We went on a hike to see waterfalls without having to leave the gates! The waterfalls were spectacular and not a difficult hike at all: just a couple of decent hills. The trails are well cared for, marked, and beautifully scenic. But can we talk about the view? WOW! It’s vast and expansive! Literally could see Sawnee, Stone Mountain, and Atlanta! Hawks soaring between us and the lake and deer strolling by. It had us all gaping in wonder. There are so many windows and vantage points to take it in on all levels! Highly recommend! You will love every moment at the Shire!

My family and I booked the Shire for our annual Christmas cabin trip and we could not be happier with our stay. The house was beautiful, they even put up a Christmas tree! And the view is fantastic, especially during sunsets. Our stay just so happened to be during a weekend during a massive winter storm going through the US and we were nervous about the condition of the roads, but we did not have any trouble during the drive and Google maps took us right to the house. Owners were kind enough to make sure we have plenty of firewood to keep us warm during the below-freezing temperature, so we were all very cozy. They were communicative during our stay and even after. My sister accidentally left her firestick remote and one of the owners offered to mail it back for her! I can't say enough good things about our time at the Shire and highly recommend anyone considering it to just go ahead and book it! You will not regret it!

This house has so much character, and a teriffic view!

We enjoyed our stay! The house has a great view and everything you need. The property managers were very helpful and accommodating. The house could use a deep clean to remove all the webs. We would stay here again!

The view from the house is absolutely stunning! The location was great and easy to get to with plenty of parking available. Very clean and lots of space for families. All the beds and bedding were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the gas fire pit on the porch for the cooler evenings. The owners were super easy to communicate with and checked in with us to make sure everything was good. I would highly recommend.
