Stayed Dec 31, 1969We arrived weary from a very busy road trip, originally from Ireland driving along the pacific coast and big sur to L.A and then back to San Fran via Santa Barbara, this was the last stop and it did not disappoint. The house had a nice homely feel, was practical, nice decor, well laid out and very cosy beds with tv's in each room. We could see the pink sunset each night from the front door, although a nice walk through the woods to the cliff top was a breathtaking view also. You could walk to the local shops, nice healthy food locally, and great shopping on State Street - we will definitely return one day back to this house !

Stayed Dec 31, 1969It was a very well supplied, easy, and comfortable place to stay. There was a great health food store right down the street, and I absolutely loved how unpretentious but well down it all was. The art was a little cheesy, but hey! Check out The Lark for dinner! My kids loved it and were in heaven with a big a TV.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I can't say enough great things about our stay! The house is very cozy, warm, inviting and had everything we needed. My absolute favorite was being so close to the beach and the preserve/cliffs. I would walk to the preserve/cliffs every night to watch the stunning sunsets over the ocean. During the day the kids loved swimming, boogie boarding, and exploring the rocks on the beach. We were also amazed we could see the islands. The home is very close to wine tastings and restaurants, which we took full advantage of. There is also an amazing organic/healthy food store, Lazy Acres right down the street if you prefer cooking in. We were provided with two bikes that I used every morning to bike down the street to a coffee/bagel shop. The home is close to everything Santa Barbara has to offer. We felt right at home using this house and will be back again!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I decided to have a weekend getaway for Cinco De Mayo so I found this great place on the Santa Barbara Mesa. It was clean, spacious and looked brand new! Because it was a celebratory weekend, it was very convenient to be a short uber ride away from the great bars, restaurants and shopping downtown. Best part: only a couple hundred yards away from the beach! I would absolutely come back and stay here! 5 Stars for sure!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I wish I had more than a weekend in Santa Barbara! This house is in a perfect location: just a few blocks walk to the beach and to the Douglas Family Preserve, which was a beautiful place to watch the sunset! It is conveniently located in a nice neighborhood, near a market area, and a short drive to the downtown area. The house is well appointed with comfortable beds, a great kitchen, and nice yard to relax in. The owner was friendly and helpful. I will return and stay here again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We just stayed at the best beach vacation home! My husband and I and our good friends really enjoyed our stay. We walked to the beach everyday and there was also a trail up on the bluffs that we hiked. The owner hooked us up with things to do and great places to eat. We told him we wanted the Santa Barbara experience as we had never visited here before. The home was just remodeled so it was new and clean which made it really comfortable. It is really close to a farmer's market type grocery store so we didn't have to eat out every meal. We definitely would give this vacation 5 stars!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We really enjoyed our 3 day weekend in SB and will be back to stay here again. SB is such a great town and this rental was perfect for us. It is located in a quaint and quiet neighborhood close to grocery stores (you have to check out the Lazy Acres store if you are a gourmet cook), restaurants and other shopping. The owner made us feel right at home answering all of our questions and gave us many ideas of things to do with our family (beach, zoo, mission, etc.). The place was clean and well equipped for our stay.
