Stayed Dec 24, 2025We usually stay at rumbling bald every Christmas but this year we decided to venture out and so glad we did. The cabin property was so cute, very clean and accommodating. It also had a Great Lake view. Will definitely be booking it again next year

Stayed Nov 26, 2025Very nice property. We had Thanksgiving here with our son and his girlfriend. The property is nice and relaxing. We enjoyed the fireplace and the view was beautiful. Too cold to venture out on the deck. We were about 30 mins from a grocery which was open on Thanksgiving which was awesome. We were about an hour from Asheville so we explored downtown one day. If you want a nice place in the mountains but within reasonable distance to explore this is beautiful. We had everything we needed and no issues with the property.

Stayed Oct 17, 2025The reason I gave the accuracy of the on listing only one star is because the pictures and description were totally inadequate! This place was an absolute jewe!I have stayed at many vrbo’s and time shares in my 93 years. Only one have I enjoyed similar accommodations….and that was the Summer home of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor!The owner. Scott, was also a delight! Who ever talks to owners unless there’s a problem? There is absolutely no way I can more highly recommend this venue. It simply marvelous!
