Stayed Jul 15, 2025When I first got there, I didn’t expect to have so much to do within walking distance from such a lovely spot. I also was able to meet Karl, the host, and he was very kind and knowledgeable. The view from the front porch was just right; not too close to the beach but close enough to see the water. When I inevitably come back to Murrells Inlet, this will be the first place I check to see if it’s available.

Stayed Apr 5, 2025We enjoyed our stay at Vista Mare. Our host, Karl, checked in frequently but was definitely not intrusive The property was as advertised in the pictures. There were peek-a-boo views of the ocean from most of the rooms and the beach access was a very short walk away from the front door. The kitchen was equipped well. The rocking chairs on the front porch were a welcoming spot to sit back and relax. I wouldn't hesitate booking the property again.

Stayed Oct 6, 2023We loved staying here! With a toddler, it was so easy to get to the beaches, and the house is great. We loved the screened in porch for a drink after our son went to bed, and Karl had the house well stocked. He’s so easy to contact and responds immediately to any questions! Great host :)
